There’s a million dollars worth of noise in that screaming engine. Just stunning.
I heard one take off in Vancouver. Good God it was the most glorious sound. I would buy it for that alone. Edited by ITP on Wednesday 22 December 13:50
A couple of years ago I popped to my local Spar to pick up some milk. In the car park was an orange LFA being driven by a young, very lucky fella. I walked over and asked him if he wouldn’t mind revving it a little for me. He thankfully obliged and brought the little village to a standstill with the screaming V10. What an incredible thing.
Proof that you don't have to make a hypercar with 1 billion horsepower to make it desirable - despite it not being that fast (relatively!) I'd have one in a heartbeat.

If I'm right in saying, does this not have the Topaz skin as opposed to vinyl wrap.
Presumably it's this one...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWj4YqcERDs
An LFA of some sort would be top of my list. I'd possibly have two, one for show and one for go. It's one of those cars where I don't personally think either model's wheels are the perfect match for the car so I'd definitely play around with that to see if I could improve it.
I know the gearbox comes in for some critisism but to be honest I'd prefer to have a box that you have to learn, work with and adapt to to get the most out of it in a drivers car. I have access to two semi-autos at the moment, one a robotised manual and the other a dsg and to be honest I never really bother changing gear manually in the dsg car as it's just too smoooth and competent at doing it itself. The other car though is the complete opposite and is never left to it's own devices, it's bloody horrible if you do, but I get more satisfaction using the objectively worse gearbox.

Looks a little cumbersome not having the paddles attached to the wheel.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_fcVWkvK2Q
I never understood the attraction of the LFA. The car does not look that great, the engine even for the time was less powerful than others, it is impossibly cramped inside and it came with Toyota's commitment to street performance - which does not exist. Current prices are simply due to the fact that there weren't many produced since they did not sell when new - that is, it was not an attractive car relative to others. High prices for the LFA now do not change the fact this was a dud. Anyone now buying one of these will simply park it and seldom, if ever, drive it. Let the hue and cry of LFA fan boys begin.
Yes please. Probably the only modern “supercar” that if my Euro million numbers came up 100% I’d have one. Such an incredible piece of engineering, you can keep your V12s and TT V8s the engine in this is a masterpiece. Had the pleasure of seeing one at Goodwood a number of years ago, and while it is understated in comparison to its peers make no mistake it is an absolute wow machine. Green in this is perfect to.
Pretty sure it can only be serviced by two dealers in the UK and it is absolutely eye-wateringly expensive to run but imagine pulling up a LeMan/Spa24/NRing24 camp site in one. What a journey down, I’d imagine it would be mildly terrifying navigating ferry ramps or Eurotunnel curbs but think I’d be tempted to sack the race off and turn round and do the return journey straight away

My good lady was at Salon Privé when the LFA was new. She has a video, somewhere, of her and her best friend sitting in the LFA revving it. Both of them were "in their cups" on free Champagne and hitched up their dresses to allow their thonged buttocks to engage with the seats.
The guy on the stand was somewhat challenged by having to keep others away!
I think it was 2010? But I could be "one year out".

Exterior colour is fantastic but if I'm being picky, I'd prefer a lighter interior as some of the details get lost with the darker colour.
There's just something unspeakably cool about an LFA despite the relative lack of pedigree compared to the more established brands in that sector. And I don't think I would ever tire of hearing that engine note.

Love it, looks great in the green however non-standard it may be.
I'm rather fond of the front-mid-engined layout, near 50/50 weight distribution, rwd sports car; it seems to offer agility without a heavy engine behind you threatening to come around. Coupled with a V10 that makes that noise, it's pretty much perfect. And I really doubt one would drive an LFA and crave more performance.
Chris Harris described it as a perfect drift car, evo picked it over the 599 GTO in the Highlands.
Definitely my #1 dream car to buy if I ever find myself with a spare half-million or so.
