Not overly taken with the overall styling, but that is an impressive build with some very clever details

Wrong engine. The colour's not great either, especially the wheels.
In the builders defence of the colour, it's a wrap done quickly for SEMA and he intends to (re)paint it yellow.

Curious as to what the "right" engine would be though.
I guess it's the right engine for sound given the original sounds like a raspy 4. hehe

Hmm, thinking about what a cool engine would be for this - the V6 from a NSX with a turbo would be cool. I'd want something that really revs.

Frankly it's great to see someone modifying an old Ferrari. I think it looks great.

Agreed, V8 is part of that cars DNA cannot see a buzzy 4 pot giving the same feelings

Not checked the whole thread, so apologies if this one has been posted before. Walked past it many times and still can't make my mind up. Looks to be well done but not sure if the padded vinyl roof is to hide anything.

That’s revolting, especially the wheels.

Think that used to be Johnathan Ross's wife's car.

LEYLAND SHERPA

Never heard of one myself but thought it looked cool, right?

Not sure who would be brave enough to drive it though.

That’s a tribute to the E-Type Jaguar in the odd ball film Harold and Maude , quite well done , hence the wire wheels .

I’m going to show my age now, but back in the 1980’s, the GPO (General Post Office) sorting centre for Surrey had a fleet of V8 Freight Rover Sherpa. The drivers would terrorise the early AM roads around Redhill with them. In their day, empty, they were bloomin quick.

then this funny thing, its a bit like a sleeper car.

old neglected looks, but it seems as good as rust free (no rot?)and it has has an engine swap, not a big one, but a bike engine from a BMW motorbike :-)

its not really decently, but the build looks as poor as the car looks, so it 'fits' biggrin no idea how such car drives, but looking at the model it looks quite rare those days, so that price is not 'bad' for what is given I think.

'The Rat'- our 1970 Citroen 2cv fitted with BMW R1100RS boxer engine and Pete Sparrow conversion kit.
lol @Rat look.

although it seems that there is a bit of kevlar/carbon worked into that car lol, see the old fresh air cabin inlet, I guess its now closed...
I remember those days long long time ago when going to my work back then, I had a Escort RS2000 mk2 and a guy living also worked there and lived in the same place I lived back then, owned such Citroen we then took one week his car and the other week I drove mine, wow such 2cv hahah, when going fast true a left or right corner, hahah, fun, also when opening that cabin fresh air valve, you could look through that and see the outside air lol, such a simple car = light, not sporty, but fun in some strange way ;-)

I like the wide arches, love the wheels, not keen on the pick up.
