It is quite clear why it is cheap. Not that it has no MOT, but the current owner took no notice to faults as long as it drove to point B in his life. Wow.
You say that like none of us have been there!

Makes a terrible ad, but doesn't necessarily make it a terrible car.
Never hehe

The vehicle can be ruined by the owner and not itself unfortunately.

The owner probably replaced it with a micra so he could afford to maintain it biggrin

It's definitely a terrible car.
Agree. Maybe I'm in the minority but if my car develops a fault I get it looked at ASAP, depending on the fault. If, for example, it's like my memory function seat buttons weren't working (as on the Lexus LS460!!) then no big deal, but if there's anything remotely more significant such as engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes etc etc it gets looked at ASAP. I like to think my cars have been good examples as I look after them.

I’m finding the idea of this Cayenne Turbo really exciting I clearly have a mental condition of some kind.

I could park it in the garage next to my 124 cabrio purchased on a whim thanks to this thread. I probably should get rid of that before I buy a broken cayenne.
Deal, I'll have your 124 cab, you can have my Blackpool Illuminations dash Cayenne (sold as seen) and we are done.

Is it gold?

It's alarmingly close to me and since the A6 was written off by some censored kid taking the front off earlier this week furious I need to see what the insurance company offer me.

I mean, how ruinous can a 5.2l V10 estate car actually be? scratchchin

Does anyone actually believe these are not just bought for fk all, wound right back, and some incomprehensible gibberish merely copied to some freshly printed eBay paperwork before they make their way here?

No I’m not saying that specific example has been clocked, I would have no idea. I simply struggle to believe there are so many mint cars that come all the way here for a premium without issue.

There is a thread somewhere with a chap tracking his E-class coupe (I think it was), which was exported having been “mileage adjusted” between his parting with it and a fresh advert. It is a thing.

I suppose it depends how minty it is if you go and look at it - a clocked car will be easy to sniff out with supposedly such low mileage. It's a Japanese import too so not unheard of for such low mileage.

I don't doubt that happens. I think with any purchase of an imported car particularly one where the low mileage is a feature it's a buy on condition - ignore the dashboard and get a good inspection and warranty.

I do think that Japan is a bit like Jersey, not only that they start with the same letter but that there are a lot of high value cars washing around not doing an awful lot. I say this with the authority of someone who has watched some episodes of Bergerac and a few Japanese movies.

I get the impression that the typical Japanese barge owner is a very proper person indeed. Not a man to leave a pollen filter in place for nine years, lest he bring disgrace to the spiritual door of his forefathers.

Whereas Jersey Barger is more likely a effete dodgy accountant or a fackin-fackin Cockney gangster with a frankly slapdash attitude to allergen control.

That seller is near me. Never bought from them as their target market is above non-Friday barging. They appear to be a specialist whose niche is performance/exec past heroes and newer stuff. Think Alpinas, M cars, other German marques, Aston, well restored classics and so on. I’d be surprised if this vehicle was iffy, but fully accept some checks would be most prudent.
For what it’s worth I’ve never heard of them slagged off in the boozer as some local ne’er do wells.

Big miles but this one's about as cheap as they get: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144730293740

They do sound rather good, one of the Whatsapp bargeists posted a great video of him flogging one up an Alpine pass.

Struggling to think of a more ruinous car, W12 Touareg maybe.
