A decent-specced S211 500. I am not sure about the front bumper but it looks very tidy. Currently at £4,200 with 6 days remaining

The front bumper looks like an AMG one. I don't know a great deal about W211s, but I'd expect it to come with twisted side-skirts like this E55 and a rear bumper with cut-outs for chrome exhaust tips. So perhaps it is AMG wheels and a front bumper fitted to a non-AMG car?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125388146757?_trkparms=...

If it wasn't for the colour, and those wheels...

The second photo really allows you to assess the condition of the rear bumper. May be he was aiming for the golden hour, but got a bit delayed?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265725151993?hash=item3...

Is this the green 500 that has caused a stink a few times ?
I was starting to think that, more so after the AMG bumper query post.Krikkit said:

No that was a different one with a black interior and a few other differences. I really like the look of this oneBiglips said:

chap in our block used to have a Honda CRX, same motor i think? It was lovely. Then the Honda's themselves went to around 160bhp with vtec if I recall correctly. And they'd be tiny in today's world.
Shame Honda have lost their way so badly since....
A few years ago I owned a 1990 Japanese-market-only imported DA6 Integra XSi (pic in profile). It had that very B16a 160bhp DOHC VTEC lump. What an engine. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265745537534

Geeky fact - many folk think that the CRX was the first car to have that engine, but it was in fact the Integra XSi, then the CRX.
Some great memories driving those. Especially the Civic (was known as the ‘red roary car’ by my children) as it wound round to 8k+ rpm.
Sadly, my last company car was a Peugeot diesel. Ho hum.
Yaaaaawn.
Late night last night and have a bit of brave pill poisoning...
The search for the Family-to-France-barge ended in Horam. I bought possibly the stupidest vehicle I could. A LWB 4.2tdi Audi A8.
It ticks almost all of the boxes I wanted it to - pale leather, lwb, not barried, mostly working, FSH etc. Aircon works, blinds work. Engine definitely works. Brakes are strong but totally devoid of feeling, seats adjust nicely and so on.
Things it lacks that would have been nice are reclining rear seats, ventilated and massaging seats, sunroof (there's always a recip saw), the cd player is not working and much to my distaste there was a bit of showing off from the air suspension which the seller not only forgot to mention but even said was fixed for MOT...
It needs a good old clean but I don't mind that so much; I'll get old Henry revved up and the grown up super-soaker plugged in.
Importantly, it did the 3h+ drive home effortlessly. This gives me hope that it will be a nice companion for a family holiday. A nice, chubby, whaley sort of a companion to fill with cider, cheese and dried meat. I have a hopelessly romantic idea about how this holiday will make us feel and how it will be remembered by my lad so let's see if it comes off.
Anyone want to see?
