All these high prices are depressing. As there's not a big supermarket with fuel in my town all the local filling stations royally take the piss. We're still happily in the 170's for diesel around here.

My car has a "cheapest local price for fuel" finder function in it, I've used it a couple of times when I'm near Hayes or High Wycombe when I'm slight;y further afield, which seems to have the cheapest prices, and when I get there they are usually 10p more a litre than the search results in the car - useless Audi Connect ste....

Its sad that I work up in Manchester a lot, staying in hotel then for the weekend I travel home to Dorset, so I fill up at Trafford Park in my diesel Focus so I can drive all the way down, and all the way back without filling at home because the fuel is nearly 20p cheaper up Norf!

I see Aramco made a record profit 161 billion.. wow and with all their increased costs and shortages too…how did they manage that? (There might be some sarcasm here)

Most profitable company on the planet I imagine, and by some considerable margin.

Petrol / diesel at motorway service stations used to be a fraction more expensive than town, but, w t f
Total extortion.

If they dropped the price more then folk would take a small hit, but now there is hardly anyone at them.
If I find I have no choice then I'll do a splash and dash at the motorway services but would never add a substantial amount to the tank at the kind of prices they tend to charge.

On a long trip a few weeks ago I used the petrolprices app on my phone to find a local Asda really close to the motorway which was doing E10 at £1.40

I paid 161.9 for diesel thought that was cheap compared to more local to me there are all 166.9

But seeing other people being 144 for diesel annoys me a little

Fuel duty frozen for another year.

World oil prices dropping steadily.

I would say the 'madness' is coming to an end. E10 has been £1.40~ish in our local stations for a couple of months now. I can't see anything going on at the moment which means it should increase in price.

Local Tesco is 138.9 for 95. 143 for 99 I think.

Even though it's further away I go there now as I get club card points and 4 roundabouts to have fun on.

What fuel card prices are people seeing?

Used over £1,600 of petrol at ~£1.46ltr and ~35mpg since January 2nd without a fuel card.

Did a lot of silly (just for a few days) commuting that went on far longer than anticipated, now new venture may see me living in a car.
