What fuel card prices are people seeing?
Used over £1,600 of petrol at ~£1.46ltr and ~35mpg since January 2nd without a fuel card.
Did a lot of silly (just for a few days) commuting that went on far longer than anticipated, now new venture may see me living in a car.
You don't get decent petrol prices from a fuel card, just diesel. Last week my UKfuels price for my piddly little account was 123.46 + VAT so £1.48 a litre plus a penny a litre admin charge. About 15 - 20p a litre less than I've seen at forecourts, but I don't seem to live or work or travel to any of these places that are getting £1.61 a litre etc, I think my cheapest local price is £1.64 or so.Used over £1,600 of petrol at ~£1.46ltr and ~35mpg since January 2nd without a fuel card.

Local Tesco is 138.9 for 95. 143 for 99 I think.
Even though it's further away I go there now as I get club card points and 4 roundabouts to have fun on.
143 for 99??? I just paid 164 in Crystal Palace SE London?? Even though it's further away I go there now as I get club card points and 4 roundabouts to have fun on.

Just been. 145.9 today. The one in TFL Zone 5 was a whole 10p more
It would have been 145.9 the last time you went, too. Tesco are always 7ppl more for 99 than 95, company wide. It's been between 143.9 and 145.9 for a fair while here. Shell are 158.9 and Texaco 160.9 for comparison.Trustmeimadoctor said:
I paid 161.9 for diesel thought that was cheap compared to more local to me there are all 166.9
But seeing other people being 144 for diesel annoys me a little
Mainly 161.9, whatever point 9 is, round here for diesel. The missis tells me that the Govt recently told petrol retailers to reduce the inexplicable 20p difference between petrol and diesel. Our local one obeyed that instruction by increasing the cost of petrol so that the gap is now 5p. But seeing other people being 144 for diesel annoys me a little

I thought the same too re 7p difference, but last time I went to Tesco Saffron Walden it was 9p, yet another example of them taking the pi**Blackpuddin said:

Our company fuel card supplier sent us this today...
Dear Customer,
We have some good news! We're expecting fixed fuel prices to decrease by around 4.5p per litre next week depending on your network.
To get the best price, we are encouraging our customers to wait until after the weekend, if possible, to fill up.
This latest drop in price is due to the global economic fallout following the recent banking sector issues. To find out more about the price fluctuations take a look at our monthly fuel price blog.
