Aye, I remember them being much cheaper than 35k. I imagine it's probably just for that "special edition" one, but still I can imagine you wouldn't get much change from 25-30k now for a brand new one.

Still we're living in a world of £50k civics...
And 100k Volvo and BMW 4x4’s

Which makes a new 911 a bargain.

I just got an email to tell me that people on the waiting list will be contacted and invited to order.

Wonder how many more cars there will be?

Got the email as well.

Don’t think I’d ever order a car without a test drive so fingers crossed I’ll get a go.

My email said this…

“Based on your position on the waitlist we won't be inviting you to request a GR86 at this time, but within the next few months we'll let you know if there's a chance for you to make a purchase.

Please bear in mind stock is very limited. Orders can only be made online via personal email invitation and contacting us will not impact your waitlist position”

As I said back in the Yaris days order the car as it is a refundable deposit (or was).

By the time you twiddle your thumbs and then have a drive they will all be gone!

My email said this:-

As you have previously requested to be kept informed on the GR86, we wanted to let you know that we have now announced the availability of limited stock in the UK. We are currently inviting those on the waitlist to order the GR86, and you will be next to know if there is any further opportunity to purchase. Please bear in mind stock is very limited and orders can only be made online through personal email invitation.

Wonder if they’d give me a discount?

I got the same vague email and am not tempted to chop the GR Yaris for one.

Kenc, if you don’t mind, how much have you to pay for your car, what colour and gearbox did you select? Just nosey.

I've not got a rejection or invitation yet - so I still have a chance if people above me in the wait list don't go ahead with the purchase... so please don't buy one biggrin

£32495! for a black manual is very fair of Toyota, with inflation at 10% since last year, £32995 would be about right, well done getting one, I wonder if we will ever know the full allocation in the U.K. in time?
