I knew the car in 2 but it took three attempts to get an acceptable input for the model.

I feel a bit miffed. I wrote Morgan Plus 4 and it was rejected. A google suggests it is the same car or is that incorrect? My Morgan knowledge isn't expert level.

Same as others defeated by the way the model designation was written

I did the same, and even after trying to read up on the difference I'm thoroughly confused - it seems like the two terms have both been used intermittantly for the same line of cars over the last 70 years or so, but never both at the same time?

When I was a lad in the 70s, Morgan had a very basic lineup and it was the Plus 8 and the 4/4 to signify the 4 cylinder, 4 seater. Though ads featured different arrangements, the factory designation was 4/4.

I know it’s not quite your midnight yet but I can’t help myself. Another that has pissed me off. Don’t read this until you’ve done Tuesday’s.
today’s is dead easy but again it’s fundamentally deceptive. The pic shows an RS500 splitter, not a standard Cossie.

Yup, my understanding is that 4/4 denotes 4 cylinder, 4 seat.....could have done with remembering that this morning! Round the houses with all the other model names but out of goes before I got right!

I feel your pain but don't have your nerdage on this one....keeping it simple bagged a hole in one. Guessing you were marked down for that little extra bit?

In 5, but feel hard done by put Ford Sierra on my second guess but didn't put cosworth, despite thinking it would be a Cosworth, I added Cosworth when the rear wing appeared on 5th image, I didn't think it'd be anything else

I'd seen it but couldn't place it and put down it's later sibling on 4 before getting it on 5.

My first guess was Plus 4 too. Does a 4/4 actually look any different?

Same stuff today. Given how US centric the thread seems to be my first guess was Sierra XR4Ti, but would a Cossie actually look any different?

Still it's a bit of fun!

In 1. Kept it simple with Ford Sierra Cosworth and there it was.

it's got the fog lights next to the indicators though, the 500 didn't have the lights and had grilles instead, at least as standard, the lights may have been an option and not fitted to the car like the Alfa 155 aero bits in the boot to get the aero into BTCC, I can't remember that bit hehe . I didn't think of it being the 500 model. It could have been a Cosworth with the 500 lip added, or a 500 with the lights fitted. If it's 50/50 I keep it vague.

Indeed.
