Mate! fking hell.
Do people still say "choons"?

Well, fking choons!

That was brilliant, could stay there all night.
A thousand youngsters and the only person who started anything was a 40 year old cock with muscles and a big gut. He got bounced out pretty quick.

Don't pretend to know anything about DJ's but that was amazing.

I know so many samples though, for fk sake they all went mental to a Dick Dale track!

Jesus. There are 8 previous ones?

Thanks for that man, I don't even know where they are myself, certainly can't remember that far back.

I think the Lambo one was the peak, its been downhill since then!

Brilliant bar.

Dance till you drop baby!

Or until they stop serving, obviously.

Bloody hell. So my resolve to be more sensible lasted one night.
Got to bed at 2, hammered and ruined by 3 hours dancing.
Was absolutely brilliant though.

That DJ set was fire! Everybody there was less than half my age but nobody batted an eyelid, really good. And the bar after was mad as well, again, just dancing and everybody friendly. Corking night.

Knees are feeling it today.

Needless to say I didn't get up at 6 for the pool.

Going to scope out some of the places mentioned on here today.
No piss ups though!

Brought a stupidly expensive snapback cap in a shop here yesterday, just realised, it's gone!

Have you ever got up at 6 for the pool?

Note - waking up slumped in the pool or being in the pool at 6 drunk, never having gone to bed doesn't count.

PS. Good to see your taste in beer is showing no improvement.
Yeah man honest injun. I normally get up, swim, gym, sauna the lot. Obviously not everyday! Will endeavour to get the early morning pics tomorrow.

I know, my beer taste never improves!
I travel all through these beautiful regions with a host of lovingly crafted specialist stuff but I always seek out the sttiest cheap lagers!
There's no hope I'm afraid.

Check the bins - you have form
Now that's a good point sir. I should have checked the bin in the room, it'll be cleared out by the time I get back now.

In the MOÖ bar. Too early for booze so tea and food. Nice friendly staff and er... good views.

Is this just me?
I'm sitting in the bar and a couple just came in and asked for 2 cocktails to drink in the garden. But, get this, she wants to try it first, in case she doesn't like it. So the girl behind the bar is now making a small tester one with all the ingredients so she can taste it.

Is this normal? This seems like hugely entitled behaviour to me, buy the bloody thing and if you don't like it then lesson learned.

In these nice hotels there is a surprisingly high number of people who see themselves as above the staff.
I find it infuriating when a waitress brings out drinks and food to a table and the people sitting there just completely ignore her.

You have a guitar, a mini bar and a well stocked hotel bar…I wonder if you’ll end up on the stage…

I’d probably think about moving my car if there are going to a lot of people, drinking and dancing in close proximity…..
Nowhere else really to put it mate, they do have another, bigger car park but it's tight.
I might sleep in it!

Thanks br d for keeping me occupied through my Covid induced quarantine.
First of all sorry for the loss of your lovely missus last year. She sounds like a complete gem.
Secondly thanks for allowing us a wee ride in the passenger seat of these glorious journeys that some will never get to do on their own but live it vicariously through yourself.
Even if we did I don’t think we could live up to your levels of brilliance one minute then tremendous fails the next, wallet in the bin, Dave in the Alps and dinging the bumper in front of hundreds to name a few.
Thirdly what happened with the mountain biker in the alps? You alluded to it one year, said you’d let us know later and never did.
Doesn’t really matter now but just stuck in my plague addled head this morning.
Keep up the good work for your own sanity and also in memory of that great wife of yours.
Thank you for your kind words. I think about her constantly but it's not that terrible, debilitating grief all the time anymore. There are plenty of moments, always will be, it's mostly just a perpetual sadness that she won't get to do these things anymore. The best person I will ever know.

I'm not sure what the Mountain biker story was, I don't go over the old ones and I've forgotten that sorry. Do you know which one it's in? Might be able to jog my memory.
