Wanted to acknowledge br d and say thank you for your road trip threads over the years and inspiring me to actually go out into Europe and have a go at a solo trip driving some great roads.

No interesting stories to share but a couple of pics instead:

Hi Deuce, sorry I missed your post. Fantastic that you are taking these trips, it won't last forever. Top stuff.

I'm planning another one, it's half booked.
With all the st I've splurged over the last two I hope this will be lighter.

This will come as great news to all those here on PH who absolutely love your adventures.

No holds barred, raw, full of humanity and genuinely inspiring.

I'll be here, reading, enjoying and being inspired to try just a bit harder to enjoy all that's out there.

All the best, and "Oi Oi" from a fellow Essex Boy.

Great to hear 2023's adventure is in the planning. Br D, you have half inspired my 2 week summer holiday, we have 4 days in the Alps en route to Italy for a few days before driving along the coast back into France to Cassis, then heading back for home.

Family of four in an A6 avant BiTdi so not quite a nutty supercar but we all love a road trip!
