I thought they were all quite interesting this year and the McMurtry quite extraordinary.
I think it’s interesting to see the development and potential of the EV’s but the ICE cars were still kicking. The March was a 300bhp 4 cylinder from the 1970’s and the XJR was fabulous but wildly unsuited. Whilst not allowed - perhaps understandably - a contemporary single seater or specialist hill climb car would be an interesting match.

Well yes if you are selling white goods vehicles but I've yet to see a convincing EV sportscar and I think this is the area where they will struggle a bit.We fans of loud, obnoxious sports cars might like a bit of noise, but the rest of the car-buying world just wants a car that does its job in the most efficient way possible. But, it highlights how crap electric cars sound.
Couldn't agree more - it's hilarious/sad watching the dodge viper bellowing up the hill followed by jenson button's FCX-1 which sounds like a dentist's drill or a small insect; I actually thought I had an issue with my headphones at the beginning of that run. But, it highlights how crap electric cars sound.
