Am I the only one seeing the silhouette and thinking RR Wraith?
Main difference is the built-up rear wheelarches, plus lights obviously. Problem is the blacked-out lower half makes it difficult to judge if it's a low-slung sportscar, or (like the Wraith) halfway to SUV height (was next to one in a traffic queue last week and it towered over me).

The problem is a W12 doesn't have the primary, secondary & tertiary balance of a V12.
In the Bentley, this short, high centre of gravity engine is mounted in front of the axle line - exacerbating the weight distribution issues.
A V12 is a superior configuration - smoother, balanced, lower, easier access for maintenance & better suited to mounting low in the chassis between the axles.
The W12 is a VAG parts-bin special created from merging two VR6 motors just as the Continental platform is a revised VW Phaeton / A8.
