With Europe such a limited window of sales wouldn’t it make good business sense to prioritise Europe sales for that short window and maximise profit then continue to sell elsewhere?

Great. Another positive review to help me pass the time and increase my excitement levels until January when I should get mine. smile
You have an amusingly appropriate username for a car that is ostensibly for sale, but you can't actually buy rofl

I picked mine up on Christmas Eve. It's a terrible car, seriously, in that instead of going 1.5 miles up the road to Co-Op for some milk, like the wife asked, I used half a tank of fuel sliding around the roads next to Beachy Head. grinning like a fool.

It really reduces the amount of time you have available.

I'm going to keep it because i'm stuck with it now. Perhaps for the next 30 years.

Ha ha. First time anyone has commented on that and it's nothing to do with Porsche.

Who'd have thought just a few years ago, that 2 of the most wanted small affordable cars in recent years would come from Toyota.

Guess again. But I see some good detective work going on there.

Another car where the manufacturer got the headlines for low purchase price for a car they know will then change hands for £36 - £37k ( which they are currently)

Porsche have been doing this for years, create the hype, create the demand, create the short supply, Manage the secondhand supply increase the margin. Another newer sales technique.

As usual the poorer punter loses out. Well stuff them all, there's plenty in the back catalogue to explore, the cheaper end, try them all before they all get banned

I dont think they restrict the amount of produced cars by choice, its been a constant lack of cars since they started Selling them in 2021 in the us. In a world with lack of available components they probably chose to prioritise production of more profitable models rather then a small volume sports car, which probably doesn't make much money at all

Sorry I just don't get the hype on these..???

Firstly. it looks like a Hyundai or some cheap Korean cr*a*p, and secondly still not enough power, same as the Yaris GR.....

I mean 184 lbs ft ... Even my daily diesel has 284 - come on...

Ah well I suppose someone will buy them but certainly NEVER me...
I'll take your pathetic 284 and raise you to 465.

And I would love a GT86

torque is just a lazy option for a sports car.

Don’t forget the EU average CO2 targets would incur fines if they sell too many.

I'm torn. I have been bidding on this GR Yaris on collecting cars and toying with the GR86's currently on sale for overs on Autotrader.

Not sure the Lotus would offer me twice as much fun if I'm looking at drip finance going out every month instead of owning outright.

I was almost killed in my twenties in a Westfield. I now have a minimum standard of crumple zones and airbags and an Elise doesn't cut it. Emira with 2022 compliant crashworthiness does.

Would love the Emira for the looks and the steering feel but its double the money... I get annoyed with myself because I actually have the money but I am just too averse to tax and depreciation.

I'll wager an Elise is still safer than a quadbike wink

Brave man that has been up for months I assume due to the awful colour seats that don’t match the rest of the car.

I've never really considered green seats in a car (mainly because I've never considered spec'ing and buying a new car), but that aside, if someone mentioned a green interior to me I'd instantly flashback to photos of hideous Aston Martins or 80's Lotuses.

I think the green leather in that GR Yaris looks really good and I'd have it in a heartbeat (if I could justify £30+k on a car).
