Not sure that I'd want such a low torque engine in a family setting, as we've been spoiled by turbos - but still I'd love to have a go.
Torque (lb ft): 152@6,000rpm...that wouldn't be much fun as a daily for me either. You have to be constantly flogging it to death if you wanted to get a shift on I reckon. Kind of missing the point to an extent but it would feel like hard work and take a while to acclimatise.
Plus it looks at first glance like an older American airport rental car and is 13 grand. Not like its a sleeper either, unless you fit a turbo.

This is lovely. I'd have it if I was in the market.
st. I sent a link to my girlfriend and she says she likes it and I should ring. How much of a pain is owning an import? How easily would I source say, a headlight or a wing mirror? To what extent is there 'underbody protection' applied to this dealership's vehicles?

I try to get bits from there as they can be cheaper than Honda UK even after shipping & duty. Normally a week or so for delivery. Normally...
But even some bits for my UKDMs are coming up No Longer Available...
Amazing car.
Had the opportunity to buy one, but it was also up against the 130i and r32. Once local tax, insurance and import taxes where taken into account I ended up with the 130. Always regretted not having the man funds to go with the Euro R. LSD from the factory, what's not to like.

Not sure on sourcing headlights or wing mirrors, you might pay a bit more than a UKDM car. The biggest issue is rust, but since this is from Torque-GT I'd expect it to be in tip top condition, and they perform protection upon import, last I heard was Dinitrol. How much of a pain is owning an import? Biggest problem with owning a JDM car is having to drive around with this blasting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuJDhFRDx9M

Be aware that they only spray it on the bits that they can get to easily. If you want it done properly - i.e. removing all the plastic bits in the way, you have to ask for it and it costs.I’ve imported a car through Torque GT. Pretty much everything is an extra. My car needed new tyres on arrival, that was on me, clutch was slipping, luckily we came to an agreement on that one! They’ll wax it all up for you, for a price. Iirc they’ll do a very basic job for free but sell ‘upgraded’ packages.
This one is still in km which is strange for them. I’d wager they didn’t originally import it.

I do like these, but they do strike me as something you'd have to really want to justify buying it.
As a daily car, I don't think you can ignore that, unless you want to stir the 'box, something with a turbo or more capacity is going to be way easier to live with. If you're looking for a high-revving naturally aspirated toy that can still do the practical stuff, I'd struggle to choose one of these over an FD2 Type-R. If it's pure weekend toy, you'd surely just go for an Integra.
A cool car, don't get me wrong, but definitely one for the dedicated few in reality.

Wouldn't that be the case with any dealer though? This one is still in km which is strange for them. I’d wager they didn’t originally import it.

Tyres are within legal limits? They stay on. Want additional niceties e.g. PPF? It will cost you. Car drives okay and has passed an MOT? No mechanical work required prior to sale. With everything open to negotiation, of course.
They're selling the car as useable daily too with decent miles on it, rather than a museum piece.

I already drive a modified Japanese car so that song is basically on a loop in my head, especially in multistorey car parks. Biggest problem with owning a JDM car is having to drive around with this blasting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuJDhFRDx9M

Alot of it will most likely be shared with the CL9 (Headlights/mirrors probably any UK Mk7 Accord), the only pain being the colour for body parts. How much of a pain is owning an import? I’ve been told these handle better than a DC5, they have a more sophisticated rear suspension set upAs a daily car, I don't think you can ignore that, unless you want to stir the 'box, something with a turbo or more capacity is going to be way easier to live with. Something to note is these have electric PAS, where has all the other Type R’s of this era have hydraulic
