There was a time when the loudest noise in a Rolls was the ticking of the clock. Now it’s the steering wheel and seats. With the engine graphic a close second. The designers can hop into the skip with all the left over v12 components.

The craftsmanship and detail is amazing. Colour scheme inside is questionable, but I get it as a homage to the driver.

The paintwork looks good in my anything but humble opinion. Interior pretty much a mishmash nightmare for anyone, except a Chav that's won the lottery, or a tasteless rapper, but I do like the salt flats effect on the doors, so not all bad.

or that people have different tastes, especially people that have a fleet of multiple cars?

I actually like this, I think it's comparatively subtle accents, I'd likely prefer more normally upholstered seats, but I think the other accents are quirky but interestingly good.

People moan about wealthy areas been stacked with unimaginative black SUVs with black interiors, then something different comes out targeted at the same cohort, and the same people moan about that too. It's almost like the people are the problem, not the cars ;-)

But, much like just about every other poster on this thread, I'll likely never be in a position to buy such a car.

Nah, there is such a thing as tasteless and this interior is tasteless. Trying way too hard. Shouting hey, look at me, I'm rich and special, way too loud. Tasteless to the painful core.

And who moans about black cars in wealthy areas? Non sense. Black cars are everywhere. These days if you want to buy an used car which isn't black or silver you are normally in for a long wait. Nothing to do with wealth and all to do with general human lack of creativity and the herd principle.

I understand that the markets & demographics for RR buyers have changed from the tradional Aristocracy / Chairman of the Board buyer, burr walnut & leather interior, as below, and that RR has to adapt to keep selling cars in the quantities necessary to keep the business viable. But interiors like that Wraith seem to conflict with what RR stands for. What next? "Slammed" suspension, spinners and under car neons?

I'd take the 53 RHD Aurelia any day over the R-R V12. You could probably buy a late BMW M760 as well for the money, same engine as the R-R plus all wheel drive.
Not sure how the engines in either car fair as far as running costs and reliability though.
