From clicking around Youtube, someone in Japan is making a lof of these “$12,000 exhausts” for V12 S-Classes, there’s quite a few videos of them around. Definitely adding “Something with a V12” to the bucket-list of cars to own before we all end up stuck with boring electrical appliances.

I have a 1992 model 600 SEL, but needs some fettling and TLC to get back on the road. These really are crying out for a 5 speed gearbox as they rev a little high when in 4th. The V12 sings and has its own character.
I do love the sound of this one in the article, and it would be a great thing to hook every now and then. But, like others have said, it would get annoying when you just wanted to waft along quietly in double glazed comfort. Perhaps if they could do a switchable exhaust like on some omen cars, that could appeal more.
Oooh, a fellow M120 enthusiast. I see you're in Berks, I am in Surrey, so not too far.I have a 1992 model 600 SEL, but needs some fettling and TLC to get back on the road. These really are crying out for a 5 speed gearbox as they rev a little high when in 4th. The V12 sings and has its own character.
