Quite recent Toyota landcruisers (LC3?) have them I think, certainly not all are leather.

edit there is at least a 2011 with it on autotrader
Utility and Commercial spec Land Cruisers certainly still had (very comfortable) velour seats when I tried to buy one new in 2020 just before covid hit. The waiting list meant I settled for a Hilux (with cloth) instead.

As much as I like velour, I'd have thought that it's particularly ill suited to utility/commercial spec. Vinyl ftw there.

Ford/Vauxhall were still doing velour in the early 2000s for their Ghia/CDX spec cars.

We had a 2007ish Citroen C5 as a works pool car that had velour seats. Coupled with the hydrogas suspension it was a very comfy ride.

It's surprisingly hard wearing - we had the same stuff in our 93 80 series LC and it still looked like new after 270k miles and almost 30 years of fairly rough treatment. Even if it did get caked in mud or something was spilled, a wet cloth generally brought it up nicely.

You can get vinyl in a Hilux I believe but it would be pretty grim on a long journey when comfort is really one of the main selling points of a Land Cruiser.

I briefly owned an Omega CDX with velour - pretty slow with the ridiculously long geared auto and slightly gutless 2.0 but probably the most comfortable car I've driven.

The 1997 Toyota Camry had velour in a grey art deco ( ish) pattern. It looks supremely comfortable. There are still a few on Autotrader if you wish to revisit velour.

The best thing about real velour is that it is resistant to sham-paggun.

I remember seeing a 5 series (F10) about seven years ago with light brown velour trim and was wondering that you still get a car without leather, faux or real.
Was a low spec one, but still

Differing market tastes mean it’s possible to spec it still on some JDM cars. I would like it as an option to leather, particular on some vehicles its cheap and nasty stuff. Heated velour seats would be my idea of ultimate luxury.

Had an old 306 which I'm pretty sure had velour seats. Were lovely comfy seats if I remember correctly.
So late 90's early 00's, shamefully I can't remember the model year.

We had a '99 Passat with over 160k miles on it when we sold it last year. The velour seats were all in brilliant condition. No wear, fading or anything. Super comfy. Cool in summer (no need for ventilation), warm in winter (no need for heating). Perfect material really, yet nobody wants it. Me included! If I were looking at 2 identical cars and one had velour and the other leather. I'd almost certainly choose the leather car.

fk knows why?! hehe

2018 (and probably new today) Toyota Century came with velour (the Japanese are not as fond of leather as everyone else seems to be)
That was my guess too.

Our trains at work have a mixture of cloth and velour seats.

Reasonable to assume they're comparable on the dirt scale but only one shows it.

Currently going through a fleet upgrade to velour and those are only 2 or 3 years old at most.

And how they get like that, note velour still looks clean.

The F3x BMW 3 and 4 Series were available with a cloth interior, though I believe BMW wanted a larger deposit from people who ordered it as it would be harder to sell if the customer cancelled after the build had passed the point of no return.

Personally I think it looks great. There was a 440i M Sport in the classifieds recently with it.

How about corduroy? Seats in my Wagoneer has it but I don't know of any other cars with corduroy seats.

They're lush

I had a Datsun 280ZX with a totally red interior including red velour seats. Really did look like a Turkish brothel. Can’t remember which year it was
