There's the saying that the Germans build the cars you want and the Japanese build the cars you need, but is Citroen starting to take that crown from the Japs?

Not many of us drive to work on a racetrack or have delicious Scottish B roads as our alternative commute route. Stop start on broken potholed strips of black hell fighting through swathes of angry SUV and Audi drivers is probably what 95% of us regular people have to live with. So why not get something that's actually designed for that and just enjoy being cocooned in comfort and quiet, all at a price that makes you smile?

Not a bad looking car infact all Citroen's are decent looking , I'm slightly biased as we have a DS3 .

Make a good 3 or 4 years old buy anyone who's going to pay 33grand for a new car is going to lose half within 2 years or so but guess most brand new Citroen's will be on PCP .

19” wheels on a car that doesn’t even do 0-60 in single figures? Don’t understand such wheel sizes when todays roads are as they are.

Because styling, innit?
I agree - I thought Citroën were beyond such things. Seventeens and some sidewall would suit it much better. As would a rear hatch that is a bit more vertical. But I am sounding like an old man now...

I will check and edit this soon as to what size it is exactly but the one I've got on hire does have a decent amount of sidewall compared to rim from looks alone. Certainly not low profile. 18's might suit it better but it's not crying out for it over the bumps like sports cars do.
