I'd like to see carwow put this up against some other ~1,000 bhp cars. Would be interesting to see the result...

Not many sub 1600kg 4wd 1000hp cars, that i would like to see, a mapped 720 will struggle off the line, e63s you can get 1000hp from relatively easily but is 1935kg.

Turbod Gallardo or hurracan is probably closest.

I see McLaren some NSX and corvette, which overall looks a bit of a mess.

The path Lamborghini has gone down with styling lately really leaves me cold.

My fantasy supercar fund would not be heading in their direction. I also don’t really understand how the latest Lamborghini can leave me so uninterested in details of the performance. I just see something fast, but heavy and numb lacking in substance. But more than anything else, the way it looks, I actually think I’d be embarrassed to own one
Better fire the Lamborghini designers and let you have a go.
There is the heavy comment again. This thing weighs less than a Mercedes C63 S Coupe and it has twice the power. Its a Lamborghini hypercar FFS, not a Lotus Elise. banghead
Embarrassed to own one...really? rolleyes
Lambos were never aimed at the shrinking violet type.

Anyone just bored with the huge power numbers? Where’s clever and lightweight and really engaging driving machines.
Lamborghini's aren't for everyone wink

Looks fabulously crazy! I love it. All of the big lambos have always looked fabulously crazy. They never make any sense in any way at all and that makes them wonderfully bonkers to me.

The only downside that I see on the styling - if there even is one - is that it looks very similar to the aventador, whereas none of the previous main lineup lambos have remotely looked like the one before it.

In a world of the mainstream, with minor styling evolution and refinement, I love that Lamborghini still exist to do mental in every way they can. Woohoo!

Yes, me. I'm bored with huge power numbers & mass. Consequently the current silly car in my garage is a 205 1.3 Rallye. Not very clever and not for everyone, but lightweight and really engaging if you like that sort of thing. I'm also not sure it's much more useable than this (surprisingly handsome to my eyes) Lambo.
