This could be a dumb question (bracing myself for abuse)…but if the battery only lasts 6 minutes does that mean that on track you could deplete the battery and then would only have the 814 bhp from the ICE? Or is recharging so efficient that times you are off the throttle (braking) mean the battery can recharge for the next straight?
The latter - it'll use the motors on the front axle for regenerative braking and recharge the battery, then it uses the battery power to torque fill the V12.

That said, you won't get all 1000+ all the time, but the track mode will be more power than just the V12 alone and recharge itself continuously.

Lovely thing, but the name 'Revuelto' sounds a bit too much like it should be a translation of 'Revolting' in someone else's language to me.

No, the article says EV only would last only 6 miles but if used in conjunction with the ICE it'll be able to charge/discharge again and again so you'd have the full beans the whole time.

I've seen this in a few colours now and I think it looks best in the orange so far. Matte black looked good as well but the White and Yellow ones I'm not a fan off.

The styling certainly has some challenging angles but if I think back to the Aventador launch I think I felt the same. Straight front and back looks glorious, front 3 quarters also strong but the side on view is a bit weird with the vent appearing as a zig zag down the side. Hints of Corvette C8 (not a bad thing).

The cab forward look is also a big departure for the "big" lambo model but something the Huracan has shown works well. Again I don't think I loved that at launch but certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed today.

I'm sure in the metal it'll look stunning from all angles.

It's a translation of scrambled in Spanish - huevos revueltos, scrambled eggs

Do we know why they use Spanish words for their big V12s?
I seem to remember reading they were named after bulls that were famous from the bull fighting arena.

Can't they turn all those angles into curves?

It’s far too heavy. You can’t get it in manual. Looks like the old one etc.

Presumably slightly less than 814 bhp* with a flat battery as the charging load on the engine is going to be fairly high, especially given the power output of the motors and how rapidly the battery refills.

  • academic, I know. Slight less than 814 horsepower is still an inordinate amount and very few drivers will be capable of getting the thing up to half its quoted maximum, let alone near full.

Screaming V12

Scissor Doors

Looks like it wants to fight you.

GLORIOUS!

I know these things are subjective but anyone who can't get a little excited by this car needs to check their pulse.

Now go and make one without all the totally unnecessary hybrid rubbish and 200kgs lighter in the process and it will be even better.

I mean there is no doubting it's a Lamborghini?

Like a lot of modern supercars, they look better without the Carbon Pack fussiness and with silver wheels.

I'd like to see one in it most basic spec, with all panels that can be optioned in body color. I bet it will look great.

I think you're missing the point... the company you're looking for is Lotus not Lamborghini.

I can't wait to see one in all black I think this looks mean as anything.
Love the headlights.

£400k for the 'run of the mill'model wonder where the inevtiable performance versions will end up priced at. Just shows where things are at.

I was expecting to not like this, but I REALLY like the look of this. Not pretty by any means, but if you're going to go aggressive on the styling, you may as well go OTT, which this does.

I was just about to post the same. I’m getting far too old for these supercar releases. They’re all looking like facelifts these days.
