Ahhhh the whiff of a two stroke on full chat burning Castrol R, I’m so glad that I have experienced one of the wonders of the racing World
Can't stand the smell of either - makes me want to puke! Saying that, I did enjoy riding a mate's Suzuki GT750 (Kettle). Super smooth engine felt nothing like it sounded - like bees bouncing around inside a biscuit tin

the reason for my comments is experience of living in the peak district, which is absolutely inundated with dirt bikes at the weekends.
nothing spoils a nice walk in the hills like the stink of 2 stroke hanging in the air as a line of dirt bikes go past, accompanied by the irritating noise they make. don't get me wrong, i get exploring on dirt bikes, but just think there could be a better way of propelling them
then you get someone who has got hold of a felled tree hacking it up with a chainsaw all day. serenaded by a 2 stroke engine. lovely.
I must admit the sound of a whining 2 stroke is a bit annoying. However 4 stoke thumpers is music to me ears. nothing spoils a nice walk in the hills like the stink of 2 stroke hanging in the air as a line of dirt bikes go past, accompanied by the irritating noise they make. don't get me wrong, i get exploring on dirt bikes, but just think there could be a better way of propelling them

crikey, the 2 stroke keyboard warriors are legion! wonder if those who've been lovely enough to tell me to fk off would do it face to face?
just to prepare those most triggered, i have a spoiler for you. this is going to happen whether you like it or not. not a retrospective ban, but you certainly won't be able to buy a new 2 stroke powered tool/ bike/ etc in the not to distant future.

As smug gloating goes, that is extremely poor attempt. Try a viagra to help you get a little more credible, you're obviously a fan of multiple strokes.just to prepare those most triggered, i have a spoiler for you. this is going to happen whether you like it or not. not a retrospective ban, but you certainly won't be able to buy a new 2 stroke powered tool/ bike/ etc in the not to distant future.

I don't like your attitude to 2 strokes, I want you banned. Was that a daft comment by me? The answer is yes by the way.
Was it as daft as your comment? The answer is no by the way.

Do you think said riders would be more considerate on a 4-stroke ?nothing spoils a nice walk in the hills like the stink of 2 stroke hanging in the air as a line of dirt bikes go past, accompanied by the irritating noise they make. don't get me wrong, i get exploring on dirt bikes, but just think there could be a better way of propelling them

What about battery ? They're basically silent so will properly have you crapping yourself when they come past unannounced.
