"few can dispatch a school run quicker than this" What? Correct me if am wrong, but most schools are within a built-up area, with a UK speed limit of 30mph, potentially reducing to between 5 and 20mph outside the school itself. So why on earth would you need 666bhp, 0-60 in 3.6secs and a top end of 195mph. Absolutely ludricous. Should one of these grace itself near a school it would be like the Somme.
I don't think this is the website for you.

Perhaps you should join your friends at "Stop Oil" and "Extinction Rebellion" ?

That would be around half-a-million miles.
erm.... that equates to 4p a mile on petrol.

It's not 1977 ...
I get between 250-300 miles on a c£100 tankful, 300-350 on a run. When this car was new it would have been an £80 tankful.

ETA: .....yeah, I got my 0's wrong. You're right. About £20k. Totally bloody worth it though ;-)

You're new here aren't you?

These cards are always 'coming to a school run near you' according to the SUV hating PH driving gods ;-)

I've always said that if I won the lottery I'd definitely have a powerful V8 petrol SUV of some description in my collection of lottery winning cars for sure. I'm not dripping in money sadly though, so I usually end up with the more cost effective to run diesel SUV version in real life, but I'll still keep dreaming about the petrol V8 version though! cloud9

Whenever I see something like the X5M or the RRS SVR...I always think where do they get the money from to run one of those everyday?! driving
We have an F25 X3 35d M Sport. All the bells and whistles (literally) and simple remap........ up-to 400bhp (360-380 safe) and 540ft/lb of torque with 35mpg.

Even sound ok and well under 2 tonnes.

Obvs a petrol V8 is different level but for those on a budget..................

Petrol has averaged roughly 150p a litre in the past 3 years.
I'm old school so that is £6.80 a gallon and I'm sure that Lister hasn't been doing much over 20 mpg in its time, so I rounded it to 34p / mile x 60,500 miles = £20,570 in fuel. smile

Or, a current shape SQ5 which I have. 345hp / 516lb/ft torque as standard and a great all rounder. A remap I think takes them to 380hp / 620lb/ft. Interesting not more bhp is available but it's plenty fast enough anyway as it is. Standard it almost keeps up with an SQ7....at least to 90mph anyway and then the SQ7 is faster thanks to that nice V8.

Similar numbers to the GLE400d that I have as standard(330bhp/516Ib/ft). The GLE doesn't feel all that quick though because it has 2300kg to drag around with it, so a remap would definitely be a benefit in that I reckon. I do think that the low down torque from a diesel engine does suit an SUV...but then I would say that because I can't afford to run the petrol V8 version though! hehe

If money was no object then I'd imagine that I probably wouldn't be going anywhere near a diesel in fairness(although I do find the 700 mile range in the GLE400d quite handy though on long journeys).

Do they go off-road I would buy the one at £75k if it could take my country sports gear , logs and dead animals and drive over my fields ? I like the look and it snorts well.

Fpace SVR Le Mans Limited edition in dark purple with dusty gold alloys. Looks very nice - nicer than the Lister, goes very well. Great if you like a fast SUV
Might be damning with faint praise here but with that colour that has to be one of the best looking SUV's (mind you in fairness I'm very partial to the SRT8 or, preferably, Trackhawk)

I love thé Lister and the idea of it as a British Alpina. I've only seen one on the road and was tremendously excited to to do so. Kudos to the purchasers, I'd love one.

The thing is, an Alpina is generally quite elegant, the Lister is a bit blingy

A British Brabus, perhaps?

The one that I spotted wasn't very shouty, yet did the 'boxer in a tux' thing very well.

Don't be silly! Though they're great for exploring the uncharted reaches of the Sainsburys car park or the void between most of their drivers' ears!

Few people have mentioned it’s done 60k miles.. the original advert says 3k which explains the premium over the other one posted. I’d still have the other one though at 20k miles and much cheaper.

might as well do moronic SUV properly and they have, brilliant. Just not in chav white shoes white.
The black one looks.....purposeful.
Likely less range than most EV's at speed on a German Autobahn not that the owner would care.
