Thank you for writing Brave Pill - it will be sorely missed.
Yup, I’ve always look forward to Brave Pill, though a part of me wonders what the world of software sales would be like now if things had gone in a different direction. Brave Pill, I salute you!

Thank you for all of your pills. I have enjoyed them and will miss them
Sorry I didn't comment at the time on the Bernard Ingham/Ingrid Bergman line. That was very good.
I particularly enjoyed the Ferrari 456 pill as I have one of those and I commented on that article at the time.

Thanks for this and all the other pills.

Love the Interceptor, if I bought this though I'd fit a set of GKN alloys, they suit the car a lot better. They were fitted to the Mk3, maybe the Mk 2 also.

"And even the slushy three-speed auto couldn’t mask its appetite for speed, delivered with a snarling soundtrack"

Agree with the soundtrack, appetite for speed not so much, lovely cars though.

There, fixed that for you. What a lovely Mk I.

A very fitting way to finish the Brave Pill series, I will also miss the Saturday dose! A Jenson Interceptor has been on my dream wish list ever since in the mid 1970s, as a struggling prog rock musician, I hitched a lift from Bristol to Evesham in a blue Interceptor with cream leather interior. The Interceptor seemed impossibly glamorous then, and for me it still does. In the intervening years I have owned some desirable Alfas, a glorious Maserati QP, a mint condition Ferrari F355, and a couple of seriously quick Jaguar V8s, however an Interceptor is an itch I still need to scratch, as also is a Lamborghini (I'm looking seriously at Gallardo's currently), and it seems ridiculous that a V10 Lamborghini will drink less petrol than a V8 Interceptor...

Cars I missed out on when they were very cheap and you could walk out of an auction with something nice for £10k or less:

Jensen interceptor
Ferrari 400i
Lamborghini espada
Maserati Ghibli
Mercedes 300 sel
Etc

Every time I read this sort of article I kick myself for not being brave at the time.

Of it's era, probably one of the best assembled and nicest driving cars I have experienced.

It also has the unfortunate distinction of being one of the two cars ever to leave me stranded while filming it. The other one ran out of fuel, this one overheated.

I know I SHOULD love these, I adore this type of Anglo-American mongrel, Italian styling, big engines etc..., but the interceptor has akways left me cold. I much prefer the earlier CV8 or the big engined Bristols from 407-411.

RIP Pill.
Pill and Shed are easily the best content on here.
Oh well I guess there's more space now for unobtainable Porsche restomods and MG EVs.

Always loved the Interceptor, they were my dad’s dream car when I was a kid. Will miss brave pill, hope something equally amusing replaces it.

I've really enjoyed reading your Brave Pill's..... excellent work.

I had a Mk3 a long time ago that spent a while getting roadworthy after it had been standing a while. Just a lovely car to drive in a non performance way. Fuel cost however was scary. Happy days though.

Great shame this feature is ending. Things like this are far more interesting than the latest hyper car or EV. The Interceptor was always a childhood favourite of mine - still looks amazing today and such presence. No doubt some younger viewers will think the wheels too small and the glass, too tall - but that was just how things were back in the 60s and 70s.
I was checking up and the white Jenson Interceptor featured in Wheeler Dealers in series 7 in 2010, was sold for just £6500, and that was after Ed had weaved his magic on it!

I think Brave Pill's talk of flouncing is just attention-seeking behaviour. He'll be back next week with a Grosser Merc. .
