I used to this that, but unless you enjoy cleaning your wheels after every second drive, they are a godsend for a daily. Love mine.

Dark grey is even better for hiding brake dust etc ... my RRS has been cleaned once since last July.

That is woofly nice. An earlier model gts v8, say 2013 or so is on my 'maybe attainable' wish list.

Yours aren't what i would classify as black, more like 'Grey with Gloss Black Accents' which is fine. I have similar on my Cayenne, Painted in Black (high-gloss) with polished front surfaces.

While it's highly unlikely that I will ever be in the target market for this type of vehicle - I think this GTS is a really nicely-judged package. Poise, noise, space and pace. Well done Porsche. Even the price doesn't seem completely terrible, given what's on offer and the cost of its competitors.

Yep. Far better than any RR or the Aston thing. Or that damn Bentley.

Well done Porsche. They lead the way as ever.

Why only 660NM? An SQ7/8 has 770NM. It's not a PDk, either, so I assume Porsche uses a lighter version of the ZF?

I know there will be negative comments to follow but my brother has a 2012 Cayenne GTS with the exhaust and it sounds absolutely biblical and has a fantastic interior. I’m very envious.

This must be on another level. Please everyone buy these and then look after them so I can get one in 5 years!
Had this been a saloon or estate then I'd be interested, even though I do not like Posche's styling.

Never understood these things. An SUV that's selling point is it handles and goes like a car. Why not just buy a decent car? Or a decent uncompromised SUV?

If only they used a ZF. frown It's a dumb Aisin, and while not bad enough to spoil the overall experience of being in a Cayenne, it is so far from being a ZF8 that it's painful to think about.

The whole point is that it's an SUV that isn't compromised in the handling department. You don't have to think about driving it any differently to a car. It's not that it's trying to be something it isn't, it's that it doesn't require you to compensate for its other benefits.

Is that even possible though? My wife has a RSQ3 and it definitely wallows Vs my old RS3. Fast enough in a straight line though ...

Sorry, but the front looks like it's come out of the paint shop without them reattaching part of the nose ! Those wheels are like the awful black/carbon on the 2014/15 F type R. Not a SUV fan but the first one seems prettier than this. Also the black around bottom makes it looks higher - the opposite of what you're trying to achieve surely !?

It's not even a particularly accomplished off-roader. I guess if what you want is road presence, room, comfort and almost-carlike handling these fit the bill.

Never really understand why people buy these. If you want a big SUV, surely you buy a RR?

But what if you don't want to play the "will it or won't it get me there today?" game?

One day, people will stop conflating SUVs with the requirement to be an accomplished 'off-roader'.

Because £106k barely gets you a luke-warm RR?
