Because £106k barely gets you a luke-warm RR?
True, absolute billy basic is £105k!

But this is more of an RRS competitor.

Never understood these things. An SUV that's selling point is it handles and goes like a car. Why not just buy a decent car? Or a decent uncompromised SUV?
The whole point is that it's an SUV that isn't compromised in the handling department. You don't have to think about driving it any differently to a car. It's not that it's trying to be something it isn't, it's that it doesn't require you to compensate for its other benefits.
Is that even possible though? My wife has a RSQ3 and it definitely wallows Vs my old RS3. Fast enough in a straight line though ...

TX.
It's not even a particularly accomplished off-roader. I guess if what you want is road presence, room, comfort and almost-carlike handling these fit the bill.
One day, people will stop conflating SUVs with the requirement to be an accomplished 'off-roader'.
Yet most 4x4 SUVs are certainly more capable than the Cayenne, so I think it will be a while before the Porsche's lack of off road ability is un -"conflated".. wink

Oh, I do hope that we will be still allowed to drive one of these in 2029 when I might have saved the shekels to afford a used example
