Not had an MOT since May 2014 and it's sorn on the 3rd owner. Safe to say this one is probably sitting..or in Albania laugh

H376 DNB Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6 in white?

Sold it to a bloke from Wales about 10 years ago who was going to take it rallying. Still showing as SORN!

This thread made me curious so double checked the mot on my old A4 and its really near 500k miles.

Pretty damn impressive really. I still wonder if the present owners know the mileage it shows is not the true mileage.

I am hoping someone here can help me. I am looking for an astra vxr I sold a few years ago. Reg LS60 MWC there is no data on MOT check or askmid so I am assuming it must now be on a private plate. I have regretted selling it since the day it went and am looking to get it back. Any help in tracing it is much appreciated.

I know my first car is dead. It went backwards through a dry stone wall according to the dealer i traded it in to.

My first Freelander is still alive, after being written off by a lorry hitting it, i wasn't allowed to buy it back which annoyed me as i really liked it.
Has a few advisories but seems healthy enough, has only covered 43k since 2008 though. Which seems low for 9 years of use.

My replacement Freelander is also alive, but not very well, it's only done 27k since i sold it 5 years ago, but the failure list at it's last mot is shocking. As is the list of advisories. So it will be interesting to see how long that goes.

Lolz at the guy trying to find an old bmw, that thing is long gone.

Now on it’s tenth owner. And 160k miles. But it seems in pretty good nick. And if judging by the £3500 price tag in Feb 2014 it’s worth a bit too.

Sadly I believe this may have been sold to the scrapper (2011). Shame, MOTs consistently passed no advisories (last MOT 2007) and the values of XR3i’s now make this a sad ending. Sounded like great fun.
Some bd bought it in 2008, never drove it (no MOTs) and sold it for what I assume scrap (because it is not on SORN) in 2011.

My old M3.

Bought it from a PHer (DeadScoob) in 2004

Sold it in 2011 to a plumber from Oxfordshire. He put a personalised plate on it. (E3 OTC) Posted on a forum (cant remember) at the time, put the original wheels back on it.

He had it for a year ish then sold it.

Then it turned up at a sales place (which went bust a bit later) Hertfordshire Car Centre

Then it disappeared. I suspected it had been exported (I got several calls from Europe when I had it for sale) But NO. According to the MOT History

It's been off the road from 2013-2016. Then retested. Its currently Untaxed since 2013 (sorn?) but MOT till October 2018. It's done all of 4 thousand KMs since 2011

I'd love to think it was being restored? biggrin

I would love to be able to track an old 90's Jaguar XJ owned for. years, was mint in black the same as Teflon Tony had. Some bugger smashed the window and ripped most of the ignition to get it started, but I'd taken the battery out to charge it so they just decided to wreck it.

Insurance paid out above book and stupidly I didn't think to buy it back and attempt to put it right. Almost a decade later and it's still showing fresh MOT and TAX.

Probably not worth a great deal but would be nice to have it back

Such a shame had her for 12 years, she was a lovely car. Sad to see her go out that way. Cheers though still got the memories.
