Interested to know where/how my old Impreza is now. I was the first UK owner after it was imported back in 1999, and I sold it in 2003. It still exists according to DVLA, although it looks to have been SORNed for the winter (MOT expired in December). Reg number is M320SWP. Yes, I know my private plate was illegally spaced...
Oooh, someone looking for an Impreza like me! Do you know the guy you sold it to's number? If not try a facebook group, I was told they can be successful. Looking for an STI5 in Grey, Reg S88WRX. Dad imported it in 98'. Unfortunately not taxed or MOT'd since 2011. Doesn't appear to be scrapped either. I actually found the second to last owner by posting a thread on here. Maybe you should try that?Trying to find my dad's old Lincoln Continental 1969 with a 7.2 litre V8 which would be able to go up big hills at 120mph and still would climb.
Registration: ELW66J.
I have looked everywhere and still not much luck except many people said they have owned it and someone did have it in Essex then it got sold and no one knows where it is now.
Thanks,
Jack.

Nice car. Since its been untaxed since '99, I believe its probably sat in someone's driveway or lockup. This happens quite frequently. Registration: ELW66J.

Hi
I'm wanting to track down our family beetle. We are from the wigan area. We sadly had to let sell her in about 1999. I remember the two lads who bought her said were from the Manchester area. Dvla shows it isn't taxed and doesn't have a mot so sadly thinking it is no longer around or is in a barn. Any help or information would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Yes I know where that one is, and if you send me £100 now I have a lot of information about this car, and if you send me another £100 I will tell you the exact location, or if you send me £500 now by paypal I will transfer ownership over to you.I'm wanting to track down our family beetle. I came back into this thread, and thought I'd be able to supply some information. I've recently been getting rid of some magazines, and I have a quick look through them in case there's anything I want to keep. I was sure I'd seen something about this car. Unfortunately, at the same time I'd also received the latest copy of "Octane", where you have placed an ad with the same photo. Registration: ELW66J.

Did you ever find omu 326e?
I owned it for a couple of years in the early 90's and had it painted red. It was not on the road and I was having it restored but lost everything but the painted rolling shell and engine in a fire.
I often wonder what happened to it as it was my first Alpine.
I did see it for sale in the Alpine Horn mag but missed it!

Not my car but a cool story.
This car was my great uncles which he owned for over 30 years. My dad remembers going up the A1 at over 100mph in it when he was about 10. The last time he saw it in one piece was some time in the 80’s and after that my great uncle took the body off as he planned to put some sort of Marcos body on it. As with most projects that didn’t happen and was in bits until around 2005 when he died and it was sold.
Imagine my dads surprise when we saw the exact same car looking just as it did in the 60’s at the Youngtimer car show at Gawsworth Hall this weekend just gone! We’d only really gone to look at some classic bikes but I think it made his day. Unfortunately we didn’t get to speak to the owner but it was good to see it!

Any source of N224 LWY? My first car.
Sold in march 2012, but it's showing as not insured on the MID.
I don't particularly want to buy it back, but I have many memories attached and would like to know where it's upto.
No power steering, no ABS but a whopping 5 speed gearbox. Many adventures taken in that stbox, but it did it.....with only a few minor breakdowns.
Above was seemingly scrapped I learnt to actually drive in that thing. It was barely a car. 44bhp and a distributor that decided enough after 30 mins and wanted a 5 mins rest. Sold in march 2012, but it's showing as not insured on the MID.

I manged several overtakes and short slip roads in that, but she's gone.
I'd like to bump this up for N580 MFR if anyone googles it. Sold Dec 2017 but one day if funds allow I'd like to buy her back. Many adventures done, including: https://vimeo.com/193502124
