Fubar - I don't want to be stuck behind you on the Ferry!

900T-R - It's a two hour ferry or 45 minutes in the Tunnel. 35 miles Calais - Dunkirk, max 30 minutes, so it's a time saver.

Tunnel - 35 minutes and you'll be in Calais. Very cheap when doing day trips or return the next day, too! thumbup

The (up to?) 5 day return fare is only a couple of quid more than 2 single fares.

If anyone here in the UK has room for an expense sharing passenger I should love to join the group.

My classic's not quite ready for reliable International trips.

Yes mate i'll be there without fail. If the weather holds out i won't be in the ///M3 though so don't go looking for it. Should be there from 6:30ish. Just ask around a few of the group and they'll point you in my direction.

Good to see this one still alive.

I saw this SpaF topic on Belgium telly last week - I was hiding in the Ardennens - and La Source looks good, as do the new fascilities.

Also I think It'd be a good one to think about a (few) day(s) hooning about in the SpaF neighbourhood . . . I found some glorious roads. I managed to stay within the speed limits with the car in full family-loadup.

Getting my youngest an ice-cream - somewhere far far away wink - almost made mph out of the kmh odo. Now THAT should appeal . . . in a proper car that is. Coming up soon . . .

Nice one Dink, all booked up now. Just need to sort out a second vehicle since Matt was a bit careless with his Triumph Spitfire!

Compound fractures of his right leg and several other lesser injuries, but he's getting better and should be fit for Spa.

Fooking 'ell Vette - that looks like a right mess. Here's to a speedy & full recovery. smile

That's not a 'normal' Spit either - never seen one with a 'glass front end before. Oh well, cars can be repaired/replaced...

Wow... That looks like a total write off...

Thank god the accident 'only' caused a fractured leg.

I've seen an MGB with similar damage. The driver was in a coma frown

But enough of that:

I'm sorry to say that I'm not able to join you guys.

I have to work saturdays frown

Maybe next year, or this autumn or so... We'll see!

Yup cars a bit beyond repair. The up side is that it was fitted with an FIA roll cage, side impact bars and full harnesses, had it not been ...well!

The front is a LeMans replica in fibre glass, it was also fitted with a Sierra 5 speed box, Willwood brakes, modified suspension, a few more tweaks and we could have raced it at Spa!

A dry road for several weeks, a heavy rain shower on a suspected diesel spill and a 35mph corner turns into a 180 spin over a steep embankment and into a very solid tree,.... but time to tell the full story over a few malt whiskies at Spa.
