"Superamerica"- I'm not really a fan of America, and the name just says "We've made this especially for bolevard-cruising yanks who were desperate to have a convertible"

And some classic japanese K car names:
Honda That's
Subaru Stella
Suzuki MightyBoy

Finally on principal- Kia Sportage:
When the new model was coming out, Kia paid a group of people to come up with a new name for it. The answer was "Sportage- we realised it was the perfect combination of "sport" and "portage". By which they actually meant "Oh censored we forgot to do that. Erm... how about just using the old one, can't think of anything better of the top of my head" biggrin

I've recently sold a VW Polo 'Genesis' - which in the depths of my memory was advertised with the help of Phil Collins et al
Before, I had a Vauxhall Cavalier 'Expression' - about the only thing it expressed was boredom, really
Mum had a new Ford Escort 'Cosmopolitan' way back in '88. In fact, she had it until it died, in 2001 or so...

Must say I liked the Vauxhall Cavalier 'Diplomat' - leather seats etc, but it's still a Cavalier, and the Calibra SE, SE2, SE3, SE4, SE5 for sheer originality in naming...

Honda Jazz(mag)? Or the ironically names Skoda Superb.

Also, they did make a diesel version of the Hyundi Trajet, so I think Hyundi Trajet D is fair game also

There was a micro car built in the 60's called the JANUS.
Imagine how you could change that name?
