Hi Ben, did you take some pics wink
Unfortunately not no, I didn't have a camera with me unfortunately. I wish I did but I guess I'll have to stick with what's up here (I'm pointing to my head)! wink

Gotta saya it, I've always thought the Fulvia HF's looked way better than Zagato's version.

Zagato has done/did some superb cars (notably the Aston DB 4) but it just doesn't quite work on the Fulvia IMO.

Very nice, I have a soft spot for Lancia and Alfa Zagato cars myself.

Albert,

The Maserati rack for the RHD conversion will come later as the work required including the dash will best be left until engine and box are out.

Just had a mould made to reproduce the late front vallance which hold 308 Ferrari sidelight and indicators.

Have all the parts now and taking my new vallance in for painting over the next week.

I want my car ready for Classics on the Common in Harpenden in late July.

Front lights will go from this:

to:

Mr De Tomaso stole the headlamps and bezels from the Audi parts bin:

The project lamps were I believe not standard on the Quattro but I found some in the US. I'll be backing them up with some blinding HID's.

Engine stroker kit is on order in the states to take my new engine from 5.8 to 6.6 litre so with new cam and alloy heads I not only hope to break the 500 bhp mark on the dyno but with the extra engine capacity to generate peak power at lower rev's for less stress on the engine.

Sorry for thread hijack but a long winded answer to your earlier question.

One day I hope to have another Fulvia. Terrific little cars, although I prefer the standard Coupe to the Zagato.

As always with Lancias of that era, you think "why on earth did they do it that way" but are then compelled to conclude that they got it right.

A shame Lancia got it so wrong for the last 10 years. Mate drives a 2.4 Lybra. IMO one of the last good ones. Thesis is a forgotten gem as well.
