It was fun for me to watch just on here with the volume up let alone actually piloting Satans own chariot around there for real, top stuff!nb
Is the Diablo a new addition to your fleet then?
I'll try to be there . Making space for the pics at the moment, did some work at the first serie, but after that...!!!

Now that does look like fun!! Just kidding. It was good to see an older Lambo there. The current crop, especially Gallardos seem to get driven, but in 7 years I have seen only a few Diablos or Countachs there, and most of them toured the carpark, never venturing onto the track.
British Sports GT & Saloon Challenge (featuring da Healey)
What do you mean you've got no BossCerbera on yer list?..ok try James, Phil James!
I luuurved this one
Phil the wall hugger
A solitary moment...
And the stint is over
And our man looks happy enough
Whilst someone else had clearly found the going tough

.....A red Morgan made a bid for the inside line and drew alongside me. "Not so fast sunshine...." In the meantime, the XJ12 was coming back on to the circuit on my left. And there ensued a three abreast drag race down the hill into Eau Rouge. The Big Healey did the business and with my right foot wedged against the floor I pulled ahead 3rd, 4th, Overdrive 4th. I dropped the Morgan then got the corner from the XJ12 by barely dabbing the brakes, flicking out of Overdrive and firing the Healey up Eau Rouge. Lesson administered, the Jags didn't trouble me again...
Phil i've a cracking shot of that just as the Jag re-joinedd the track. It was a very close encounter ! Just as well that the Healey isn't a wide car Will start sorting out the pictures tonight.GTRene said:
Also thx for the lap as a passenger in Godzilla's (David) car..Z06 amazing car that is with lots of grip grip grip ow and brakes brakes 4 times better then my Hartge but then thats not used as tracktool but still I loose way to much on brakes and setup...but hey I had fun

Just got back from Spa this afternoon. It was great to meet you Rene, at least you weren't ill after your passenger lap unlike the OP....GTRene
Seriously Dink, I didn't realise that was your first time (on any track?), or I would have been gentler with you! (Probably not actually)
That was one of the most fun driving trips I've been on; The Beast was utterly awesome both at the Nordschleife and at Spa the next day.
Put it this way, I was a guest in Guillotine's group of 20+ TVR owners and I think they were all fans of the Z06 by the end of the trip; there was a never-ending queue of people lining up for passenger laps and they all left the car either blown away or feeling quite ill due to extreme "g" or both!
