Interesting to note that 6 seconds slower than a full on racer with slicks while using road tyres and not flat out. LuckyPs car is 170HP down on the car used in this lap, so I would not be suprised to see it posting very respectable times round circuits.

I think Peter will confirm that his dynod output was actually 497bhp which makes it a lot more than 170 bhp down.

There is one very good reason why they haven't put an Ultima round the TG track on the programme.
How could you top that....

I wonder if the GTR800 which should be a bit lighter due to using a LS7 instead of a SBC and 80bhp more be able to claim those two seconds from the caparo T1.

It would be nice to see the ultima get some air time, it is a road car and has a roof will go over speedbumps and has AC and comfy seats, many of the owners have been on some pretty long journeys the ultima factory did the hot rod power tour in there demo ultima a while back.

Well they did the Caparo on ride height. I can't see the Ultima fairing any better!

That was my first thought after seeing last night's Top Gear. Ultima are second though, which isn't bad. Still ahead of the Koenigsegg et al!
