It is exactly 50 years since I owned a much loved 1929 Austin 7 Chummy, UD3372 . It was my only car, and it (mostly) just kept going!

I see that it still exists, and is, as then, blue, and it exchanged hands in July 2005.

I would dearly like to meet the present owner and see the car again. I have loads of pictures and stories about the car that may be of interest to him.

I sold it in 1959 for £35, but if the owner wants the money back ............

Hi Oliver,

Hope you have some luck on here, although there isn't a huge vintage/PVT focus on pistonheads.

I would suggest the 750 motor club would be a good place to start as there's a tremendous amount of general A7 knowledge there, even if it's traditionally more competition biased.

I'd also browse the various links on here,

And try their forum,

I sort of own a 1933 Special I'll have to get on the road some time.....
