Full Declared Value: GBP 3,500.00.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
  • *****************************************************

In order to proceed with the shipment it is mandatory for us to make sure that our new customers are:

1) Absolutely serious and decided about the purchase/shipment
2) Have the funds available and ready for the purchase
3) Customer`s name and address are real ( we had previous bad experiences when "serious buyers" have provided wrong names and addresses just for fun or for various reasons we don`t understand,we are sure this is not your case but we need to be 100% sure)

In order to 100% assure us of all the above all you have to do is arrange a Money Gram wire transfer to your partner, family member or to a close friend for the amount of GBP 1,750.00( 50% of the car`s price)..Money Gram Money Transfer is the only service that has ultimate authentication of the identity of the receiver of funds. Several IDs and utility bills are required before the funds are paid. Therefore, no one else but your receiver have access to the money.Your payments cannot be lost in the mail, like money orders or checks. In order for us to check the transfer you will have to direct it to Italy. The person designated as the receiver does not have to be in Italy because you can pick up the money yourself if you do not find the car suitable .We confirm that the transfer is made for security purposes, not for upfront payments .We ask you to perform the transfer directed to Italy because we have the headquarter based in Italy and this is the only way that we can check the availability of the transfer. After the car will be at your door you must pay the rest of the total amount(after you check and agree the car after the 24hrs inspection period expires).

After you will receive the car and test it for 24hrs,if you will decide to buy it,you will simply call Money Gram and change the receiver`s name from your partner`s to our agent`s name so he can collect the cash for the car, concluding the sale. This way you are absolutely covered and safe and we will have our guarantee in order to proceed with the delivery. If you will decide not to purchase the car,our delivery team will simply return the car to the seller, absolutely no extra charges for you.Because the fee to send a Money Gram Money Transfer is high, compared to other methods of payment, we have arranged with the seller to compensate the transfer fee(i.e. if it costs you GBP100 to send the payment, take GBP100 from the amount insured and send the balance).

TIP: if you will be asked why you are arranging the transfer just say it is for personal reasons,do not involve a car sale because for commercial transactions Money Gram will charge more and there is no need to pay even higher taxes.

If you have any further questions or need any help in completing the Money Gram proof, please do not hesitate to contact us,we are here for your support JWL-Express.T35.Ltd

They are still at it with L200 she/he is now calling herself Natalie Lazzaro, but same story moved to Milan, just got married etc. Still using the JWL Express T35 company. If I wasn't such a pessimist I could easily have lost £5k.

Hi,
Just to let you know about another name being used with this scam...

Thelma Daniels

We were looking at a Mitsubishi L200 - £3500 - Excellent condition
The advert appeared on Saturday morning as was gone within hours but we had already seen it by then and sent off an e-mail (personal e-mail address).

Her story is she has moved to Italy for two years and wants to sell the car which is in London in her garage and was willing to fly back anytime this week to let us view the car.

She doesn't answer direct questions other than to tell us how great the car is!
We've been thinking it sounds dodgy but have been seeing what happens.
Tonight she has said she doesn't want to come back from Italy if we're not serious so she'll arrange for an invoice to be sent to us via PH and we make full payment which will be held in a safe account until we decide if we want to go ahead or not. At this point alarm bells were ringing very loudly so after reading through PH realised it's a scam.

We haven't replied to "Thelma" yet.... Not sure whether to say "Thanks but we're no longer interested" and leave it at that or "The games up"!?

We have brought it to PH's attention.

eeeerrrmmm...no....I didn't know there was a 'report a scam' button....

+ I'm a bit wary of reporting things now (like duplicate threads) as they get either ignored or I get banned

hello i think these people doing this scam have come up with a new one, it goes like this....

I still got the VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GT TDI 130 for sale at the price of 700 The car is in excellent condition, garage kept and accident free. The mileage is real and I never had any problems with the engine. The car looks and works just perfect. I bought it from UK and it is still registered here. We live in the Northern part of United Kingdom, in a beautiful sea-side city called Thurso.
We are a nice couple of pensioners (I have 64 and my beloved wife is 63 years old) and don't use the car so often. We love to spend our time on the road but now we use to travel by plane, so a car is no more useful for us. Also we sold our house and bought a big farm here in Thurso. If you are really interested we are ready to make a trip to England and meet you personally. You can take the car for a test-drive and any kind of inspection.
Please tell us where do you live? I am sure that we will find a nice city in England to arrange a meeting, a suitable place for both. We have the faith that this can be a good deal!

P.S. I appreciate if we can continue our conversation by e-mail. The mobile signal is poor here, we have to walk over 2 miles for a good phone call.

Thank you and let me know

This is a total scam!!!!!! as me and my partner found out. After this email they will ask you to send money using e money transfer at the post office. It does sound half ok at first but after asking them some questions and sizing it all up, its too good to be true! Im so happy we didnt send any money to these guys, even tho they will tell you to send it in your own name, cause we would of been £700 down. Im just wondering tho how do they get the money if the e money transfer is in your name? I know theres probably a way to scam it but surely havent the post offices been warned about this kind of thing? Would appreciate some comments back on this matter, I live in birmingham and the ad was in the bargain pages! Has anyone else had dealings with these scam artists? Charlotte.

so the fact that the reply is very badly worded, coincidentally the most northern town in Scotland and massively under value didnt ring enough bells that you maintained comms?!....

This ad is still running. After two emails, this 'couple in Malmo' had still not given me any personal details, even a name.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2737404.htm

Again, massively under market price, retired couple living abroad, etc.

Another scam alert, email address emmakolton1978@gmail.com, in relation to a suspiciously cheap Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon that was only up for one day....

"First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car. I've almost reached an agreement with a potential buyer. Unfortunately, it looks like there are some problems and he doesn't have all the money to pay. The car is still available for sale, it is in extremely good condition,100% HPI Clear, full service history. Currently I am on a business trip to Italy and will have to stay here for about 6 months (this is why I am selling the car for a low price and I am looking for a fast sale to finance the Italian project ) .I left the car to a specialized car shipping company custody and they will handle the sale for me. The V5 log book is already signed on my behalf, the car will come with 2 keys, all service records and previous MOT's. They will deliver the car directly to your home address (is ready for shipping because the loan of my previous buyer didn't get approved) so there won't be any additional shipping costs. If you are interested in purchasing the car just let me know and I will inform you with all the details"

Cheers,
Stu
