It had to happen.

As we've trawled endlessly amidst the bargain barges and //M zones, so it has come to pass that finally, in the duffer's finance dept may lurk cars of genuine, truly stupendous value.

Get past the pereceptions of contemporary fads and revel in the lunacy afforded the cognoscenti by the mindless castaways bourne of fickle vanity - and you are RUINED for choice.

My regional compadre, Mikey W is much to blame for inspiring this latest round of obsessing following a couple of recent emails which I shall use to kickstart proceedings and I hereby throw open to the floor the gauntlet of maximum displacement for minimal coin.

Why risk ye p&j on the day to day when quality skips abound?

Allons-y!

That burgundy 750i looks tasty.

But "many new parts fitted in last 3 years (over £6,000 spent)" means £2k a year, and presumably not for anything major.

Still, I like the idea of spending cash on fuel and repairs than depreciation.

That 2.2 S6 is nice, fond memories of them, with the blue alcantara interior its very reminiscent of the exceptionally rare S6+ of the same vintage.

how about running over a peasant or two?

spraying it yellow and dealing drugs was an optional extra.

or how about one for the brave.

I think the bit about being brave should be for the Rangie! I ran a 4.6 HSE and I can tell you they aint no bargain even at £1000! Going up a hill a mile long cost about £5! biggrin

they used to make planes.
now they make odd looking Vauxhalls, but you can't deny the barge factor.

luckily this one doesn't look like 'Dame Edna'

Silver with tan leather and you might have had me. Seriously though, aren't these cars going to cost far more than the purchase cost when work starts to become necessary?

useless.

stunningly, hopelessly useless.
my manual GTV manages an eco friendly 22ish.
so what an auto and another couple of kg's will do to it is anyones guess.
but you don't buy them for that hehe
