Exceptional quality & value??.... you could probably sell the split rims for £600+ and get some cheap turbines for a couple of hundred, but looks cool on them though..... double glazed so you cant hear the peasants to!

BMW E39 535 V8 Auto / Sequential

1998 - R Reg

ONLY 125K FROM NEW

GREAT SPEC - DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOWS / PERFECT BBS BMW SPLIT RIMS etc

EXCELLENT CONDITION THROUGHOUT

FULL BMW MAIN DEALER SERVICE HISTORY

Here we have an excellent example of the award winning E39 5 Series, and this is the potent 535, fitted with BMW's excellent 3.5 V8 engine combined with the Auto / Steptronic gearbox allowing sport mode with sequential gear changes. This car looks superb finished in Calpso Red Metallic paintwork, which is in superb condition with a nice deep shine. But if you think the paintwork looks good, its the very rare BMW BBS split rim alloy wheel that really make this car stand out, they are absolutely perfect, all fitted with new tyres. The interior is fully electric Sand Leather with wood trim, deep pile carpets, a very nice place to be. This car comes with full BMW main dealer history from new, and has had only 2 owners in that time. The car comes with a very luxurious specification, including PAS, ABS, Traction Control, Multi Air Bags, On board Computers, Electric windows (the windows are double glazed), Electric mirrors, Fully electric seats, Electric steering wheel, Remote central locking / Alarm, Rain Sensor wipers, Auto dim rear view mirror, Cruise Control, Duel Air conditioning, BMW stereo with steering wheel controls, BMW torch, Full toolkit etc, etc. This car is a delight to drive, the 3.5 V8 engine is the smoothest engine you will ever come across, and it comes with that glorious V8 soundtrack. We have just had the car serviced and checked over by A1 BMW, and the car has a brand new MOT. Luxury motoring does not get much better than this !

Fully BMW Service history from new, MOT until January 2009, HPI Clear, Immaculate BMW

Or, not normally a Jag fan, but how can you refuse something in such perfect condition for a paltry £1895??

Top end money for a XJ40 but its a late one and low miles,is full sorted and has 4 new tyres!

1993/L Jaguar XJ40 Sovereign 4.0: Resplendent in deep Morocco Red Pearlescent with original subtle gold pinstripe coachline complimented by a beautiful dark cream leather interior. An outstanding late model XJ40 with only 88,000 genuine miles, 3 former keepers and total service history. This is a car I have sold previously having sourced it specifically for an existing client, he has just taken delivery of a Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit I acquired for him, so now with reluctance, the XJ40 Sovereign is to be sold. As his 3rd car he has put on 6,000 miles in just under a year, including business trips from Warwickshire to London, and has always been utterly reliable and returns an easy 24mpg once in its stride on the motorway. The car is currently wearing my client's distinctive private registration "L111PCM" but at this point I am uncertain if this is included in the sale or not... This prestigious motor car has not fallen into the sorry state of neglect that befalls most old Jags, and as such is particularly eye-catching as one just doesn't see many immaculate XJ40s on the road nowadays and secondly it is in arguably the most attractive colour they made this model in. The sleek, lithe lines, the low and wide stance, and the feline haunches were controversial upon launch in 1986 when compared with the glorious Series 3 XJ6 predecessor - but the XJ40 has I feel, in recent times, really come into its own and is certainly a purer and happier design than the re-skinned X300 which replaced it. Standard lavish Sovereign equipment: Air-conditioning, PAS, ABS, electric/memory seats, e/windows, e/mirrors, onboard computer, cruise control, central locking, 4-speed automatic gearbox with Sport mode, headlamp wash system, driver's airbag, rear window blinds, rear reading lights, alloy wheels, walnut veneer trim with matchwood inlays, wilton carpeting & connolly leather upholstery. Extra-cost equipment: Front foglights, Jaguar "leaper" bonnet mascot, Jaguar tailored deep-pile over-mats, Jaguar ultrasonic alarm system, Jaguar side rubbing strips, Jaguar mudflaps front and rear. 8 x 16-inch "Chasseur" lattice alloy wheels and sports grill with colour-matched vanes give this car a more contemporary and sporting presence whilst on the inside charcoal dashboard and door top rails (as opposed to the usual cheap-looking beige) give the car a more low-slung and sporting feel. This is my third late model XJ40 and the 1992-94 examples are superb cars whether a 3.2, a 4.0 or mighty 6.0 V12 - and I have now owned one of each! It has just been serviced and has a full 12 months MoT. It starts on the button, the engine is fantastically smooth as are the gearchanges and there is absolutely no whine from the rear differential. The original Jaguar toolkit is present and complete (very rare), and in addition to the original owner's pack containing the user manuals, stamped up service book, there is a dossier of invoices and an original 1993 Jaguar sale brochure. Fantastic value for money, your neighbours would never guess that a Jaguar Sovereign in this immaculate condition with excellent provenance could be sat on your drive for such a paltry outlay! £1,895 Job list: 1) New 225/55/ZR16 tyres front and rear - DONE 2) MoT work: new upper shock absorber bushes, new anti-roll bar bushes. - DONE 3) Lubrication service . DONE

Oh, I like that! Gandalf, tell everyone about your own recent punt - it more or less fits the bill. wink

Btw, Loon, the 535i, above, is sensational and the XJ40 series 6 pot, too - a few years younger than the pile of cack I drove but despite that - how can an Acolyte to The Sword of Pendragon not be swayed by that interior?

Now pray tell o wizard one, isn't there a nagging small voice in the back of yon bonce that keeps repeating slowly "I should have bought that...."

That looks fab.

If that's BMW Sienna Red, it's the same colour as my old 318ti. And it shines up absolutely gorgeously, especially in the sunshine.

That's a lovely, lovely car. I wants it, my precious!

ETA: Buried in the description is "Calypso Red". Still lovely!

Quite unbelievable, it would be genuinely interesting to know how these things drive. Pretty much the model and year of one I had, a 4.0, presumably yet now, here, completely abandonned by the vagueries of time and progress.

The desription 'snotter' seems entirely too harsh even in a role as low key, luxo-hack.

I mean which one would you gamble on? Tbh, you could bag a brace at these prices...

Awesome car and if I had the spare cash I would buy it myself especially knowing how much money he has spent on it!
I agree, that's possibly the most beautiful E34 I've seen. Perfect wheels, perfect colour, in perfect condition and fettled by a man who knows what he's doing... I'm so very tempted myself because that'll double in value in a few years' time...
Do it!! thumbup
