Pic 2 is the Berriedale Braes. The 944 is brilliant - particularly likes the really twisty technical stuff.

Stang - on the way to Durness is correct.

To put the mileage in perspective, London to Modena is only 850 miles. I only spent 30 miles on the motorway. smile

That looks awfully familiar. I drove up to Dornie last Wednesday, then onto Skye the next day after doing the Applecross loop. I have to move there, it is a simply brilliant country.
