No denying its an amazing engine, but the jury is out on the rest of it...

I think it looks like Borat's ice cream van...

And its WHITE! Who's idea was that???

Presumably it's white 'cos it lives around the Gulf somewhere & darker coloured cars tend to get a bit hot inside.

As for the thing itself, hell yeah, I would.

The beauty of the G55AMG (at least in Europe) is that is does not need to conform to passenger car noise regulations (given its max weight) but commercial veicle ones, which are much laxer smile Making Ken even madder wink

Nice. I'd like to see this beast go head-to-head with the 900+bhp RB26 powered Nissan Patrol I saw when in Dubai...

so, so ugly.... and not even in a likeable way.

I don't get it, is it a stealth thing? If so put it in a kia, that would be much funnier.

The brabus SLR722 did.
Are you sure? The standard 722 has 641 bhp and I thought Brabus only does aesthetic modifications to the SLR.

Exactly like that...!!!

ETA: The compressor stall on that black 4x4 at the end sounds like my RS500. I know it's a bad sound, but it's sooo good...!!!

That's amusing. Well what do you do when you have all the money in the world and no chance of spending it all?

It is brilliant in a mental sort of way .... in the same way that it makes sense to build a family car that does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds (TVR Cerbera).

Having owned a G-Wagen, I would be veeeery worried about bends in the road,, though

I'd rather have the BMW X5 with the Le Mans engine in it (Evo did an article a while back). That would probably be quicker.

And then there's the Renault Espace with the Renault F1 engine in it. Much more fun...
