Called the ‘Fairlady’ in Japan (a name which I doubt would have gone down as well here) . . .
In the 60s the Fairlady was a hot 4pot Triumph-rival. It's a wanted classic in the USA. I even believe they have a racing class . . .

Here's a '69:

The 2 litre pumps out a healthy 150 brake!

Dunno 'bout this weeks shed, the 240/260Z for me. Early 80s cars are rare over here . . . They must've rotted away me thinks.

have bought 16 of these Z31 Nissan 300zx cars over the last 3 years, restored them in some part and used for Charity fund raising rally to Monte Carlo and Modena in italy, raised over £50,000 for the Macmillan Hospice, they are the best driving car for continental touring you can buy for next to nothing, the best ones are the rare manual turbo cars 200+ bhp standard and tons of fun, go to;
www.zballrally.co.uk
and see some of the finished cars on the rally, 13 of them last year ,each drove approx 2800 miles across the Alps to France and Italy, 2 blown rad hoses and 1 bulb failure was the total damage.
cheers

wow ! never seen so many z31s in my life! - you must hold world record for most owned- although all appear to be non -turbos
Advert car is facelift model non turbo which appears to outnumber the turbo by at least75%-25%
