Louwman Collection snaps:

Moody Roller.

Big hall with tasty 20s and 30s cars.

Voisin with the killer badge.

Porn D'berg.

No need to pimp that.

I love 'em, shame they don't drive these often . . . All minters.

What's this, Auburn Speedster? 30s bad boys choice.

Real Cord, the yellow one on sunday was a rep. Great car that. Very happy owners as well.

\
Otto Vu Fiat in fine livery.

The 2900 Alfa was to die for! My snap didn't work out though . . .

I snapped a similar Rari 750 - big fourpot! - at last years Spa6:

Well driven 275 behind it.

You gotta love the Pegaso.

Every guy my age had the funky Sbarro on their wall.

More tomorrow evening.

Hmmm, that's a restricted part of the website though, although if you create an account you automatically get access to that part of the forum. smile

Why not lift that thread out of the restricted part of DF Peter?

That's the reason I put the pics-topic on GG.

Great collaboration with Pistonheads, Klassiekerrally and Driving-Fun innit?

Great to meet your girl: she likes great music! Qty also is involved in stuff like Steve Gadd, Yellow Jackets and Keith Jarrett. All of a sudden cars were out of our sight.

scratchchin

I was thinking of giving up on the carsthing and turn to 'all music' mode next year . . .

Traffic was a bit of a nightmare as we entered Belgium - motorway stop go so took to the side roads for a while.
That sounds like a very wise move! I drove through Belgium late last night so I did not have any major traffic issues, but dear gawt, do their motorways need some looking after! Apart from serious tramlining throughout the tarmac between Antwerp and Oostend (near Dendermonde) was so bad that I thought I'd gone off-road! May need to see a dentist to make sure my teeth have not been rattled to bits! wink

Some of that road surface is frankly dangerous - and that's before you add the Belgium drivers. At least half a dozen cars pulled in front of me when I was less than 2 metres away and probably overtaking them atleast 30 mph quicker than they were travelling.

Couple more from the museum visit (no camels!).....

The office

More lovely cars

Drum brakes? scratchchin

Just popping out to scald the poor people dear, won't be more than an hour...

Are these the best racers ever? Note prototype super-super-superleggera in the backgroundwink

Busy front end! Still, no ABS which is nice...

Cars designed by J-Lo?

How ants watch a Grand Prix. Possibly.

Another busy office. Propshaft just waiting for a shoelace or some flares...

Motoring in style

Torpedo tubes in the bow not hugely effective on the road but probably attracted the ladies back then

Old School Parade

I call this one "Lines" or possibly "Underexposed" biggrin

Wish I had designed this shape!

Sleek and purposeful but we would have lost it somewhere in the Drempels Range I fear

Photo doesn't do it justice, looked so good on display

This is what all letters from Maserati used to look like. Allegedly.

Shiny. Very.

Quick, cheese it! It's another arty farty picture!

Just couldn't seem to pick out the details of the Stingray quite right. Guess I'll have to go back again eh? Bummer biggrin

Meanwhile outside important research continues into the precise boiling point of a Furby...

And breathe... smile

Excellent stuff Andy, big thumbs up. The Bug turned out well eh?

This topic should say: image heavy hehe

More to come? Keep 'em coming then.

David: I value the Belgiums better drivers than us Dutch . . . I guess you were just a bit unlucky. Or we Dutch just move aside when stunning cars arisewink

Glad to hear you all made it safe back.

Yep, hitting the tarmac I mentioned (just before the exit Lokeren) at speed was a very, very scary experience! It was literally a white-knuckle ride. And don't get me started on Belgian drivers! I'm sure they have an urban myth that looking in mirrors means you're a wuss/is only for girls/kills you. I can't think of any other explanation for the way they drive. wink
