Hold on to your hats! I'm working on a more decent version of my DSR 'movie'.
Click here for the dodgy version (will be removed as soon as the definitive version is ready)

It scensoredcks! Has no rhythm! Working on it, but the weather is good for a beer in the garden, so I don't know if I can finish it this eveningwink

Pretty Rumble from Erics Chim.

Your snaps turned out well Eric, you should do that more often.

Will post some more snaps this eve.

That's a cool clip Wim! thumbup

Though if I'd known you were filming behind me at the traffic lights I would have revved a bit more! Some fantastic shots but my gentle touch on the throttle didn't do the carbon cans justice. evil

Can't get enough of that Bug, not bad at all for a handheld 1/3th sec shot:

The plates lit! In those days cars were works of art.

Toyota 2000GT

A miracle.

Louwman was - or still is actually - the Dutch Toyota-importer. This beauty was one of the many 50s/60s/70/80s Toyers at display.
Huge US influence on these cars. Early Celica's are hard to find . . . in rustfree condition. The 2000GT gives away a few styling cues.

150 brake straight six 2 litre.

More . . . Toyota made a CanAm car: 5 litre V8 double turbo . . .

Admittedly I'm starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel here but what the heck...

The 'kroketten' mentioned on the wall at Hotel New York's restaurant in above pic were saved for the lunch at Tante Loes next day, though... and I didn't think they were particularly small either.

Yes... it's another 'atmospheric' shot from yours truly... redface

Sadly it was closed by the time we got there. The bit of driving after that was brilliant though! driving Still can't believe how well Alex kept up with rest of the group (Corvette, Diablo, Tuscan and Cerbera) in his Brera diesel!

Hi all, got back Tuesday night late and found out we did not have a telephone connection.
They managed to get us back on again late last night.

I will post some photo's when I have some time today.
Thanks for a great weekend, we loved it.

To be honest, I was enjoying the ride too much (and looking out for oncoming traffic, or 'tegenstanders' as Qty called them) to look at the speedo all the time. And in any case, I don't think that it's a matter to be discussed on a public forum.

"I complied with all the Dutch speed regulations, of course, officer."
