I bought an estate version about 3 months ago. Love it, and it really is incredibly fast even compared to the latest cars - way faster than I thought they were until I started reading up and watching some YT videos.

My wife drives it to work every day and we've done a couple of London to Glasgow trips and it averages about 23mpg.

I'd be amazed if these were slow considering they have a 480bhp supercharged 5.4 litre v8. In anyone's book that has to be a big number.

I'm in the market for something to replace my CLS63 AMG. Need something with 5 seats. Any recommendations? Basically something moderately large, quite fast, petrol V8... essentially like the CLS but with 5 seats Budget £5k - £15k. E63 AMG one obvious candidate; any others?

I just bought a 550i Touring. It's only got a 4.8 litre but goes well enough and has a massive boot.

The problem with that Range Rover is that the original dials were nicer and as far as I can tell it doesn't have any Overfinch engine and gearbox stuff.

A 55 plate Supercharged would be a better bet.

I love these cars! But I've heard that the car benefits massively from the later ZF full auto box that was fitted. These cars (as well as being newer) do carry a size-able premium for having the auto box.

In theory wonderful, but ruined by a few small things:
- The extended burr walnut
- The tailpipes are way too bling, as are the dials
- A definite query on the engine...
