Fantastic. I'd be a very happy guy driving around in that.

We wouldn't touch it from this vendor, obviously. But an interesting F10, naturally aspirated, manual 530i

Ruined by the tinted light brigade, though

I think I like that even more than the 550i up the page. Apart from the black grille surrounds and tinted lights, it's a very, very nice car

That 530i does look nice apart from the tinted bits.I didn't realise they were still selling NA 3.0 cars at that point. I had a 2008 330i with the same N53 engine as that one. It was really very nice on the odd occasion that it worked but it suffered repeated failed injectors and coils as well as the NOX sensor going and the HPFP, even after it was recalled.

I wonder if a 2012 car would be more well sorted. Mine was still suffering failures in 2015.

Possibly better. Does it have a reversing camera?

BMW currently have an AUC X6M for £28.5k which I thought was cheap for what it once cost and that it would come with a warranty!

X6's are normally gopping but that one is particularly horrific. I can just picture the sort of person who'd buy it.

X6 are horrible enough to be cheap, and therefore are worthy thread inclusions!! Worth stating again though - they are hanging.

This is quite a car for the money. Is it an Alpina or just a body kit?

Alpina haven't used the V12 engine since the E38 - the E65/66, F's and G's are all forced induction V8's.

Vastly overpriced (£30k)
But why wouldn't you buy a brand new, armored 550i from 2006 with only 260 miles?

God I wonder how much that weighs!

I'd imagnie fuel consumption is measured in gallons per mile.

It's only B4-level (handgun, basically) armour, so it won't be as titanic as a higher-up level. B6 is where it starts to get really weighty.

Indeed vastly overpriced considering a gorgeous Claypso Red E32 750iL Protection with just a thousand or so miles went through an auction last year at under £10k. An E32 would always get my particular vote over an E65 but a Protection wouldn't get my vote for the sheer weight - anywhere from half to three quarters of a tonne extra leading to single figure mpg and silly things like stupid expensive tyres and suspension and oddities like no rear opening windows.
