I used to own a 1.3 Delta, does that count ?

Very similar to the integrale as it had just about the same interior!!

Took it on a pilgramage back to Italy and it never missed a beat, it'll be bean cans now I reckon . . .

After wanting one for many years I became a proud 'Grale owner last year.

It's a Monza Red 1993 Evo2 and its bloody brilliant!

If anyone is interested in learning more abouts the cars there's is an active forum with lots of good info at http://forums.delphiforums.com/evoforum

There will also be several cars, including mine, on the Club Lancia Sport Stand (www.lanciasport.com) at the rally show at Chatsworth in just over a weeks time...

www.therallyshow.org

Also google the following for more info...

Walkers garage
Auto Intergrale
John whalley

Cheers

Andy

ooooh, wanted one of these since I first saw one destroying all comers in the Rallying!

it still is number one on my list of Realistic Cars to Own - as opposed to the list with Zondas and F40s on!!

Maybe next year I can get one!

Anyone wanna buy a kidney to help my fund raising?

Lung?

Bone Marrow?

I would offer a testicle but might end up wanting a puce coloured Corsa instead (disease-al)

Anybody in the Coventry area wanna take me out for a blast in one ('grale - not diesel Corsa) let me know, I'll buy you a couple of pints!

Sounds close to me - it was the thought that counts!
hey, when I was at college, I had an integrale front grill over my door and a Tamiya 1/10th scale R/C integrale.

Now I have two 1/18th scale models. One is nice that sits on my shelf in the office and one my 2 year old daughter plays with (and consequently looks a bit like Didier Auriol drove it off a cliff)

It's never too late to buy a Delta integrale. It doesn't have to cost a fortune either. And as an owner of a 190000km car, show me another 1994 car that isn't hyper exotic with comparable "fun to drive". If you're between Kidderminster, Reading and Brands Hatch, you're also not going to be far away from a garage for the non-diy jobs.

Here's a recent one of mine. It's never too late... do it...!!! Remember, it's a 5-door hatchback, a "sensible" and useful nutters car..
I LOVE that Repsol replica! - makes a change from all the Martini ones (although I love them too)

Can I ask how much it cost you?

Very nice car mate! - I really hope to have one before government bans them

Yup, that repsol rep is very tasty - I'll have one just like that please smile

I remember being taken for a blast in a customer's Evo many years ago, he'd somehow managed to wangle it as a company car! Utterly brilliant.

Spotted one this morning in Milton Keynes, 09:25 on the A5 roundabout near Bletchley. Red Evo on silver wheels. Anyone on here?

I had to fit lower/stiffer springs to my Evo1 because I found the excessive body roll to be detrimental to my enjoyment. That said, out of all my car history, from Fiat 500s, Ultima, M3s, Ginettas and Alfas, the Evo has been my all time favorite drive. I dearly miss the car.

By the way, this one looks fun... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-6SguDEwIg&fea...

Somehow-apart from the utterly impressive Repsol version above- that Bianco perlato looks lovely. In fact quite a "sleeper" I'd say.

Until you floored it of course biggrin:

Yeah, my 8v has had the same, actually a much better drive (albeit less comfortable) than the Evo1 I had...

And the BP does look lovely. In fact, the paint on them is usually very very good and it suits pretty much all colours...although am not a fan of Giallo (apols to GY owners!)

check this out:

notice the sudden increase in understeer towards the end - presumably a tyre has blown - just needs more throttle!!!

I drove an EVO1 (At Walkers) a little while ago and I wasn't hugely impressed. I'd even go as far as saying I didn't like it. It wasn't for very long which probably didn't help and I drove 2 P1s that day which I felt much happier with having own an Impreza for 4 years.

I keep looking at them and they are still in my shortlist of cars to own but my first outing in one left me a bit dissapointed.

I'm on my second 16V and I would say if you only drove the car briefly, then you probably wouldn't like it. I used my first one daily for months before I felt completely at ease in the thing - they do take some learning.

Possibly and why I really want to give it another go. In an ideal world I'd like a test for much longer. For around 8K, theres lots of 4WD Turbo cars to choose from (S4, R32 Skyline, Pulsar, EVO5, Scoob P1, Delta EVO1) the hard bit is choosing which one!

I have gone to the other side (a Celica GT4) until I can afford a decent 'grale.
Apologies to all for the betrayal!
