And it's a really small thing, but people that shorten any word, by just removing the last syllable, and adding a "y" absolutely infuriate me.

It's petrol, you mong, not "petty"

Guy that sits beside me in the office calls his Lotus a "Lot-y" and my stbox a "Shogy" and it makes me want to punch him in the face.

Anyway, crazy little car, i despise that shape of Fiesta for no good reason, but that looks like a giggle.

Also, it really should have a proper breather for the tank that vents to somewhere that's not INSIDE THE CAR!
What puts me off is an ad that says x is wrong but will only take 10mins to sort / fix. If it is that easy get it done then.

I always think the same. Also when people say, x is wrong but will be fixed before sale. In my experience when you turn up to collect it there is always some reason why it hasnt been done, couldnt get part or similar and a token amount off is offered. Usually the fault is then more serious than appears

Theres a modified white Fiesta van parked at college most days. It appears to be lowered, running on white Escort Cossie style alloys, with a (not very aesthetically pleasing) red roll cage and what looks like an after market boost gauge. I approve of it very much thumbup

do you reckon that 'scort could be made road legal?
would you need to go the 'sva' route or could you do something iffy with the identity of an existing car..?

Website says it can be made road legal, but it doesn't say how.

It doesn't look that different to a kit-car, I think it would get a Q-plate as long as its got all the right bits on it.

There's not enough of that 1 car to get a proper plate but aye, road legal q-plate kit car wouldn't be too hard.

Do you reckon that a plastic body is strong enough to hold in proper glass windows?

Genuine question... I just have this image of the body being too flexy to hold the glass in safely.

Id say it definately would be... GRP is fairly rigid stuff, dont forget its a spaceframe chassis, so the body might shake about a little, but it isnt taking any strain.
I'm assuming the windows would all be plexyglass anyway, with the exeception of the front screen.

Very nice. But I'd take an original for the amount that's "probably" less that it's going to cost.
