Has anyone mentioned a rather famous modified Ferrari Enzo yet?

well looking at the PICTURE above it looks like an inline transverse four with a gearbox on one end
well two minutes on GOOGLE and you will find this;about 3/4 down the page, Chris Todds' Fiesta Supersport with a 2.5 Impreza engine.

I love that, apart from the interior, doesn't fit at all.Beecham Jaguar Mk2 by JonRB, on Flickr

Did that used to be an Enzo or was it built by Ferrari around an Enzo tub?
Used to be an Enzo. The owner comes on here...Just look for the articles with P4/5 in its name, everything explained there.

Indeed. It's basically a transplant of a modern Jaguar (XKR, I think) into a Mk2, so they obviously took the dash over too as it would have been too much fabrication to get all of the dials, switchgear and electronics into the original dash.skene said:

I'm assuming it's since had the Impreza engine transplant.

That would be great, my only quibble is the interior I don't like the centre console/transmission tunnel, it looks jarringly out of place to me.Strawman said:

Yep. As I said earlier, it's basically a transplant of a modern Jaguar (XKR, I think) into a Mk2, so they just transplanted the whole interior as well. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
