I thought the clio williams have the same rear suspension set up as the R5 Gt turbo, which was unique to the Clio Williams all other clios had standard rear suspension?

And did all 3 versions have this set up?

I had one when they were quite new, and it wasnt very reliable then. Be careful!! Crackin drive though.

AFAIK, all Mk.1 Clios (Ph.1 & 2) inherited the 5's rear torsion bar/axle beam/trailing arm set-up, inc. the 16V and all 3 Williams's. Simple, but very effective... and very French!

It was done as a joke in relation to a drugs thread some time ago. Incidently it replaced my williams pic.
