You need to host that pic on a site like photobucket and link it from there - you can't link off your hard drive.

Speaking of rarities though, I saw a Renault Avantime the other day... and then a second about 100 yards down the road going in another direction. eek

I think that might have been the entire UK fleet!

Some great spots. What car parks did you find those cars in? Not sure I would want to leave something like that stunning Zagato parked in such a place.

That black 599 was parked outside the Royal Garden hotel on Thursday afternoon. That Zagato, and that Zonda are residents of a certain underground carpark in the vicinity of Bond Street [i wont say exactly where]...the same car park its pictured leaving. A red Veyron also lives there, or used to as i havent seen it in a while.

Well, you would say that. I remember being in one of those when I was a kid. My Dad had a Merc 230, but my mate's mum had a 2002. I did prefer the 2002. God, that was a lot of years ago...
Mind you, my mum had a Triumph Herald 13/60 back then. I liked that too. biggrin

Rolls-Royce of some description. I haven't and wouldn't look under the covers but would like to know the story behind these (there are two of them). Absolutely huge. As tall as a Range Rover and 1/2 as long as a Routemaster...Huge. My real question is how they got them down there in the first place.....

You'd be suprised how easy it is to squeeze vintage Rolls Royces into small gaps.

They look like Phantom IIIs, maybe wrong though, they were all coachbuilt back then.

I have a proposition for you, i have to steal 50 cars by Friday night, seems you know the locations of most of them, your just missing my unicorn, Eleanor, a Shelby GT500... I have my crew ready, but we need to get rid of Christopher Eccleston as he can't act....

Great shots, I love the new GTR, and that 599 is to die for.

The colour of the 599 is stunning! can do without the CF spoiler though.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics!

A few questions spring to mind though...

How does the foreign numberplate / registration work? is it just that the owners are rich enough or dont drive the car enough to give a damn about UK registration and tax?

I wonder how many are owned by proper enthusiasts and are driven and cared for as intended?

I have heard stories of the mega rich buying something to run around in on their trips to London and then the car just sitting for the rest of its life in some underground car park frown

Great shots. I love wondering around the posh parts of London looking for interesting cars. Mayfair is always a good spot..

oH, the Hummer. Did you get a photo of the Aston V8 behind it?
