Plastic floor tiles is what you need, GaragePride has a good range.

my problem is a gravel drive that drags the gravel in and hence damages the floor

They just need an occasional brush and a mop. Dark colours are best where the tyres sit because there can be some colour transfer from the rubber.

Gravel, and jacking, could cause a temporary indentation but the material slowly recovers its original shape when the load is removed..

I'm not sure he was suggesting it 'mattered' just a case of curiosity. Owner of said garage doesn't have to answer if he doesn't wish to.

Some lovely garages on here, want to get mine done but house and garden seem to be taking priority!

Sorry, I'm used to the AMOC forum where we tend not to talk about money

Agree with the not talking about money though, don't see the need for it.

I have some damp coming through my garage - manifesting with white salt coming through the bricks..

Whats the best wall paint for garages to keep damp at bay?...

Paint won't stop damp, all you'd end up doing is creating another layer between the damp and the garage which will eventually fail.
