Who has the best Garage on Pistonheads?

A few from me for the thread.
It's not a great space in terms of size, due to it being an offset double garage, but it is pretty practical being linked to the house.
Just waiting to finish it with something for the floor at end of spring, once I've completed more decorating in the house.

It's probably moot but many businesses (successful or not) will show next to no assets on companies house. Depends what the nature of the business is.
Not wishing to make a big fuss of this as my point was light-hearted, but net assets is a lot wider than ‘things you own’. It is all assets (cash at bank, debtors, stock etc) minus all liabilities, money owed to hmrc etc. It is a pretty all-encompassing measure, that’s why I used it.
Net assets of £17k is titchy.

eta, rather less glibly that this company was a clothing company, so if they were doing well then they would have stock, and debtors, and retained earnings, and and and.....
and once a business gets past the point of being simply a vehicle to pay the directors, to have no retained earnings or 'float' is just plain irresponsible.
this was clearly a fledgling business (and good luck to them...) but to parade around on telly like you're seriously looking to buy a £6m house is just the worst sort of willy waving, IMO.

I’ve got a small heater in there, but haven’t actually used it once over the winter.
The carpet on the floor where the car doesn’t stand seems to really make a massive difference as you don’t feel the cold through your feet.
Certainly not the best as per title title but it looks better than the concrete base and open truss roof that is was left as.
New house in 2014, double door, double garage which I had the ceiling done thus creating loft space and installed
some down lighters.
From there the walls coated and then the floor painted with a floor paint. Loads more plans for the other side of the garage too including full height storage units and more space to store my dads 1926 Austin Seven.
And yes the 4C really is that wide.....

My garaging is in an old barn. Its a great space with the 7 bays worth of space but its just not deep enough at just under 4.6m. It would be great if I didn't have to choose my cars based on how short they are! Anyway thought I would share what the architect has come up with. Should cost 15-20k to move the 5 bays outward, leaving the workshop etc where it is.

Looks like a good space - being attached to the house is a bonus as even if you don't heat it directly, the warmth leached from the house keeps it bearable and dry. The only slight negative of course is that the people in the house suffer the noises of whatever you're doing! I like the idea of badges on the garage doors, I might copy that. Looks like a nice garage for your Alfa.

Lol .. the guy I bought my TVR off used to leave in a barn, transpired that there were rats living inside the dash. Its taken a long time to sort the electrics and rather a lot of money!! My barn has lots of traps just in case. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
